A family-run organic farm with luxurious accommodation. It is run by the family staying on the property so it feels like home, but also has all the amenities you would expect of a hotel. We have 6 private rooms with attached bathrooms, AC, hot water, and wifi. Please read the detailed description to understand our rates. Note: Rates during the Pushkar Fair 2019 (Nov 2 - Nov 15) are higher than the normal rates. The space We are a working farm based on age-old traditional techniques which allows you to experience food and local culture in a way that a "regular tourist" never could. Quiet, peaceful farm to enjoy a respite for a few days within the chaos and sensory over-load of your typical Indian itinerary. Most guests spend time the gardens and the pool, play with the animals, drop by the kitchen to learn a little cooking, and enjoy the sunrise/sunset. We eat what we grow on the farm: We have cows, goats, hens, dogs, horses, fishes, an extensive vegetable garden, and hundreds of fruit trees. We grow our own grains, extract our own oils (peanut, mustard, sesame seed), and cook these ingredients slowly in traditional ways. Meals We only do healthy, home-made, traditional-food. It is grown on the farms, and slow cooked to perfection...Since good things take time to make, please inform about meals in advance. No last minute orders will be accepted. Also, the food is cooked by village women who are not available all the time (births, sowing/reaping seasons, other issues), so check in advance whether the kitchen is open on those days. Rates and Timings 1500 per per per meal (veg) Breakfast, 8:30-10:00 AM Lunch, 12:00-1:00 PM Dinner, 6:00-7:30 PM No food or drink from outside is allowed without permission. Only traditional Indian food using ingredients from the farms. So, no pizza, pasta, ketchup, etc. We run specials during the off-season so you can ask about discounts if applicable. Guest access To everything on the farm, taking common sense precautions around farming activity, animals, construction areas, etc. Other things to note The swimming pool has been extended to 25 meters and is now operational. So please swim. A separate side of the farm is under-going renovation/customization for guests who have long term reservations (multiple year stay).
