Shepherds Hut on Smallholding Glamping/work stay

Our traditional shepherds hut is situated at the heart of our family smallholding. It overlooks the yard, paddocks and animals. Perfect for glamping breaks with the luxuries that come with the hut. Tv, Small double bed, food preparation area with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, utensils and cutlery etc are provided. There is a fold down table that seats 2 and looks out over the paddocks. There is a small heater for chilly nights and an outdoor seating area. “Please note no shower” The space We have a lovely farmhouse cottage surrounded by 6 acres of paddock and woodland. On site we have a couple of studio holiday rentals as well as the sheperds hut, so can also cater for groups. As well as each holiday unit having its own seating, there is a communal seating area where guests are welcome to sit and enjoy the surroundings Guests are welcome to walk around and see the animals, we have a few characters on site and some free range. Its not unusual to have a small shetland pony walk past your door! Guest access We have good secure parking. There is an outdoor toilet that is of a rustic wooden design and comes with a wash basin and has hot and cold running water. Can be a bit leaky in really wet weather, but perfectly functional for that glamping experience! “Please note there are no shower facilities with the hut” We do provide soap, towel and washing items to use in the bathroom. The hut has its own outdoor seating area and there is also shared seating areas guests are welcome to use Other things to note Please note the bed in the shepherds hut is smaller than a usual double bed, it measures at 4" x 6.2" (feet). It is nice and cosy for 2 people. There are no shower or bath facilites with the shepherds hut. The outdoor toilet facility is basic and has no heating etc. It is a rustic wooden construction and is shared with the odd visitor during the day. Can be a bit leaky in really wet weather. But it is kept very clean and tidy and is perfectly functional with hot and cold running water. We do provide soap, towel and washing items to use in the toilet. Great for a glamping experience. It is a working smallholding (although we do try and keep working noise to a minimum early mornings and evenings), there will be some animal noises during your stay and other guests onsite.
