Our air conditioned, cozy apartment is situated in the heart of Budapest, near all attractions – furthermore, it is a good place to discover how locals live and have fun. There are several restaurants and “ruin” pubs within 80 meters at Mikszath Kalman square which is next to Kalvin ter, but you can also relax in the apartment far from the noise of the street, as the inner court of the building has a lovely, peaceful birdsinging garden with an enormous chestnut tree providing a pleasant shade. The space Some words about the apartment; it is on the first floor which is actually the top floor. Fully renewed. It consist of a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. The rooms are furnished with authentic furniture from the rural Hungary of the early 20th century – except for the brand new beds for your comfort. The building itself is also interesting, since it was built in 1870 - presumably as a convent – and now it is a protected monument. Other things to note There is smart TRV on the radiator which provide permanent +22 Celsius degree in the apartment during the heating season. It is not adjustable. It is the same as we have at home. If you would like to change the temperature in the apartment (more heat or cold) please ask me and I will adjust it immediately.
