Delightful little cottage - used to be on an old dairy farm, these days it's residential. Close to Leura shops/restaurants & a short drive from the magnificent escarpment views/walks of Katoomba. The front verandah looks onto a fish pond. Be lazy on the back deck shaded by an old tree fern, with views to the grove of lovely mountain ash trees and billabong with frogs in distance. It's a simple, cosy cottage: quiet and private but in a residential area, with all the amenities you'd expect. Close to Leura shops/restaurants & a short drive from the magnificent escarpment views of Katoomba - or walk/drive to MineHaHa Falls for a picnic. Guest access Mountain Ash is a self-contained cottage, with direct driveway access, and its own verandah and back deck. Owner lives on second cottage on the property. Other things to note The cottage is ~2km from both Leura and Katoomba - about 1/2 hr walk along the highway. Do you need a car? Probably, if you're planning to explore and/or are not keen on walking ~2.5km each way to get shopping / eat outs / access tourist bus etc. Alternately you can get the train up the mountains, hire a car here or use the hopon-hopoff bus to the main sites.
