We also offer a variety of optional extras, including portable toilets, bedding, and additional tents, to make your camping experience as comfortable as possible. And if you're not sure what to do or where to go, our friendly staff can provide recommendations for local wineries, restaurants, and galleries. It's important to note that our campsites are not a hotel, but a unique and exciting place to stay. We encourage guests to embrace the experience of camping in the wilderness and to be respectful of the natural environment and their fellow campers. Each campsite is separate from the others, with an allocated car parking spot nearby. Vacant campsites at Drafty's Campground are not usually bookable, so with us, you can easily secure your site and add on additional extras like linen, portable toilets, additional tents, and stretchers when booking. And if you're new to camping, don't worry - our team will take care of everything, from setting up your tent to providing cooking facilities and bedding if needed. As you wake up to the soothing sound of the Warren River and breathe in the fresh forest air, you'll feel a sense of peace and tranquility that's hard to find in the city. Extra amenities including a shared camp kitchen and additional public toilet facilities are located nearby, and you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Guest access Guests of WA Wilderness will have access to a range of natural attractions and amenities that make for a truly memorable camping experience. Our campsites are nestled within the Warren National Park, which is home to a diverse range of native wildlife and lush vegetation. Visitors can take advantage of the stunning walktracks that criss-cross the park, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and river. Please note that our campground is not pet-friendly, as it is situated in a national park. We kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing their pets to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the park's wildlife and other visitors. Each campsite is allocated to specific guests, so it's important to respect other campers' privacy and not enter their site without permission. Most people come here for the serenity so keeping the noise down especially after dusk is important. We want everyone to enjoy their time in the park, so we ask that all guests adhere to this rule to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for everyone. While DBCA camping fees for the national park are included in the booking, please note that vehicle entry fees are payable during the stay. This is standard for all national parks in Western Australia, and fees are used to maintain and protect the natural environment for future generations. We want our guests to have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, so we provide a list of suggested items to bring with them when camping. This list will be sent through to guests with their confirmation, and it includes items like warm clothing, insect repellent, firelighters (seasonal), and other essentials that will help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. At WA Wilderness Camping, we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors to the Warren National Park. We ask that all guests follow the rules and regulations set forth by Parks & Wildlife, which are in place to protect the natural environment and ensure that everyone can enjoy the park's beauty for years to come. Other things to note At WA Wilderness Camping, we want to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience during their stay with us. Therefore, it's important to note that if there are severe weather warnings, the National Park may be closed for safety reasons. In such cases, we will do our best to find alternative accommodation for our guests. During times of high fire danger, we will advise campers of accessibility to certain areas within the National Park to ensure everyone's safety. For guests who need additional space or equipment, we have additional tents available for hire. We also offer linen rental options, which include sleeping bags to ensure you have a comfortable and warm night's sleep. And if you prefer the convenience of a portable toilet, we offer this option for hire as well. Please note that our campsite is not pet-friendly due to National Park regulations. Additionally, we ask that guests respect the privacy and allocated spaces of other campers by not entering their campsites. Lastly, it's important to remember that while camping fees are included in the price, guests will still need to pick up a National Park entry pass (currently $15 per car) for their entire stay with us. This entry pass includes access to popular local attractions such as the Beedelup Waterfalls, Gloucester Tree, Bicentennial Tree, and other National Parks in the area.
