Wallaby Creek Retreat offers complete privacy in a remote farming valley in the border ranges, Northern NSW. The cottage is 2brm, self-contained, wood fire heater and big outdoor fireplace, lots of space, lots of quiet, 2.5 hours from Brisbane & the Coast, big verandas overlooking the scenic valley. Screen-free zone: no tv, no phone reception, no wi-fi, no 240 v power (all gas and solar powered). Full kitchen for cooking, dining inside or out, 1 queen room, 1 queen + single room. The space Wallaby Creek Retreat is a haven away from everything, "truly remote" some people say, but actually not that far from anywhere. It is a place of birds, kangaroos, starry nights and peacefulness. The cottage is simple and accommodating, with full kitchen, and linen and firewood supplied. Best of all, the cottage has no mobile phone reception, no mains power, no tv and no wifi. For families with kids we offer farmyard tour of the animals. Led pony rides and activities are an optional extra. This is a great place to re-centre yourself and your family in a place of nature and calm. If you've got young kids and it doesn't quite happen like that, well, just have a great time exploring all the possibilities! It's also a quiet place to have private conversations, yummy cook-ups, campfire nights, big l.o...o.n.g sleep-ins, a winter sun-doze, a cosy fireside evening.
