Dawki Island Camp

Our river island that sits surrounded by the crystal clear Umngot river is a must place to visit - that is, if you are looking for an experience which can only be felt and not explained. Our campsite offers - • An exclusive camping ambiance isolated from the crowd • All essential camping amenities • Delicious local food served hot (Breakfast & Dinner is complimentary) • Hygienic toilets • Exploring the island in day • Local fishing experience • Bonfire and stargazing experience by night The space The ravishing Umngot river beside the campsite is truly a blessing in disguise. The river, rocks, sand, hills and the trees engulfed by the clear skies and shining stars during the night are all gifts of mother nature that form a splendid view at the campsite. "Surreal", "Stunning", "Superb" are common expressions made by the guest when they visit the campsite. Note:- From the month of March to October as the water level rises we have to relocate the campsite to a higher ground. TRANSIT TO CAMP This river island camp is a unique place to camp and is neither motorable nor walkable (away from the crowd comes at a cost). Encampers coming to the camp need to board the boat and pay at the boating counter themselves. We request you to avoid littering the camp and river with single use plastic items.
