On the Port Mansion Studio Hydra

37 square meter private Studio in a traditional stone-built 18th century mansion. The space STUDIO Our 37 square meter Studio is located in a traditional stone-built 18th century mansion. Renovated in 2018 it is ideal for families and groups of 2-5 people as it offers comfortable and functional interior. In our one bedroom one bathroom studio is a double bed with anatomical mattress, a sofa bed which converts into another double or two separate single beds, a single loft bed and upon request a baby cot with mattress (mothercare). Also available upon request - no extra charge-a baby highchair and folding maclaren xt stroller. The studio has free wifi, 32 "smart TV, A / C, refrigerator with mini bar, coffee maker and kettle (iron and drying rack upon request). Please note that there is NO kitchen. In the full-service WC with spacious shower you'll find pure olive oil shampoo,shower-gel conditioner etc by "Olive Tree", hairdryer , towels, slippers and extra beach towels. There is also a pharmacy , (a fire extinguisher in the lobby) and a special booklet with emergency information. The mini bar is at your disposal at no extra charge. We will discreetly be at your disposal for anything you need during your stay. The distance from the pier of the port is five minutes walking. Please note that most houses are built on the hill with many steps to climb whereas our studio is on the port with very few steps ( approximately 30) AREA Our imposing mansion is built in the heart of the port on the paved promenade by the sea. Very close -to the left- stands the Cathedral of Hydra, the school of Fine Arts (to the right of the mansion )and the Lazarus Kountourioti museum . Opposite right on the bastion stands the Admiral Andreas Miaoulis statue -symbol of the island -along with the cannons, the famous Merchant Marine School and the Historical Archives Museum of Hydra. Just a few meters from our house you can navigate the traditional narrow streets with tavernas and tourist shops or just enjoy the magnificent views of the entire harbor from the three large studio windows . Guest Access The studio is on the first elevated floor of the traditional stone mansion just a few meters from the landing pier of the ships.We can arrange transportation of your luggage to the studio with extra charge. Upon request you can reach the studio taking a short ride on a donkey (with extra charge). Guest access elevated first floor with few steps to climb approximately 33 Other things to note On the Port, very short walking distance to all the tavernas, nightlife, touristshops and Museums. We live in the next door studio within the mansion so we ll be at your disposal. The studio is non smoking but our guest can smoke in our private sitting area outside the mansion entrance. For your comfort and peace of mind, please note that we are not permitted to enter the property while it is occupied, unless you are present. This is to ensure your privacy and to avoid any misunderstandings regarding your personal belongings. No cleaning from us is permitted BY LAW.
