Our luxurious cedar cabin sits on 400 acres with 4 kilometres of river frontage - watch the platypus, cosy up to a horse or cow. Or just revel in big skies and starscapes, endless space and silence, river & rainforest as well as fertile flats & bush walking hills. Kayaks provided free of charge. Bring your own bass fishing gear. The space A beautiful cedar cabin with all luxury furnishings and surrounding views of alpacas, cows, horses and rolling pasture & bush. At night, gaze at glorious star studded skies as you drift off to dreamland. Relax, read, have a holiday from technology. Listen to the birds, fish, swim or watch platypus in the river, wander in the pristine rainforest, walk in the pastures and meet the animals. Luxury linens and towels. Body wash, handmade soap, shampoo & conditioner supplied as well as Twinings Tea, Lavazza Coffee and homegrown eggs. Our guests routinely say that the sofa is 'the world's comfiest' so you can laze and lounge or snooze. There is one double bed and we have a mattress on the floor or disc-o camp bunks for kids. Your kitchenette is fully supplied with all crockery and cutlery and , cooking utensils etc. There is a microwave in the kitchenette but all cooking is done outside on the covered verandah on the gas BBQ with burner. We have meat and some meals in the freezer if you want to taste farm fresh goodness or bring everything you need with you. The Tree House is approximately 300m from our house so you can interact as much or as little as you like. But if you need something, we will have it to hand! Guest access Roam our 400 acres of rolling pasture and bushland. Explore our 4kms of riverfront in the kayaks provided for your enjoyment. Marvel at our pristine rainforest environment and explore the separate creek there. Go high in the bush or hug the riverspace - perfect for swimming and fishing as well as sitting quietly and waiting for the platypus to appear. Other things to note WiFi is available via Starlink. But our advice is to unplug if you can - our guests find this experience deeply healing. It's amazing how much more reading, conversation and games playing we do when not scrolling! And Avalon is all about wandering, gazing out of the window, connecting with animals and slowing down our minds and listening to our heart.
