Description

This unit can sleep 4 people. 1 Double bed and one set of double bunks. We provide a warm (or cool) comfortable space for you to relax after a ong day's drive or a hard day's work. Our Unit is a simply furnished, country styled, clean and deceivingly spacious place to stay, just off the highway and a stones throw from town. You have your own carport and there is etra street parking for a larger vehicle or a Ute and trailer. We are not a resort location. The space This self contained unit is not far off the Newell Highway and easy to find. You have your own carport for a regular vehicle, and there is ample room on our street for extra or larger vehicles to park like a truck or work vehicle with a trailer. It's a flat walk and not that far into town. It has a small courtyard (standard pool fence 1.2m high and some colourbond) for your pet. Please ask us about your pet before booking. It may not suit you. We are NOT upmarket, modern or fancy. We ARE a comfortable stopover if you are tired travellers with or without a pet. We have EVERYTHING you need if you are visiting family and friends for the weekend, or a week. There is a hot shower and comfy beds with electric blankets. Off the kitchen, there is a step down onto the enclosed verandah that goes to the toilet and laundry. Guest access You have your own front porch that faces the share driveway and your own carport. There is a private enclosed courtyard outside the back door. Other things to note There are friendly permanent residents and a small dog that live in the unit next door to you. So if you could please obey the quiet times between 10pm and 8am that would be great. The Unit was built in 1974. It is in its original condition. The Unit is modestly furnished. The Kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook a meal. Guests can sit inside or outside for meals. The Unit is primarily used as a functional, comfortable and basic stop over, we are not a resort. There are two separate bedrooms. The first has a double bed. The second room has double bunks (2 single beds, one on top, one below). All beds are fitted with electric blankets from April til October. Spare blankets are in the built in wardrobes. If you bring a pet, please clean-up after it. Large dogs can stay in the courtyard. Please don't leave your pets unattended. Bring everything you need for your pet.
