Enveloped in mature gardens and natural Himalayan splendour, we are only a 25 minute walk away from Lakeside and a short hike from Sarangkot for magnificent views of the Annapurna mountain range, making Hidden Paradise the ideal location for rest and relaxation after a trek or a great starting point for your next adventure. The space Our jewel in the crown is the space within which Hidden Paradise and our rooms sit, all surrounded by mature gardens and incredible views. Annapurna II sits on the east side of the resort with a delightful sunrise view directly overlooking the village of Sedi and the surrounding forested hills. Enjoy breakfast on your own terrace or take in the spectacular views with others at a table on the shared lawned garden complete with an abundance of exotic flowers and trees. This superior double room allows for 2 guests, comprising of one double bed and a modern private en-suite bathroom with hot shower (heated by solar energy), WC and sink. There is a small coffee table with two chairs in the room, with a bedside cabinet either side of the bed for storage of your everyday items. There is also an adjustable ceiling fan and a large open wooden rail to hang your clothes. Head across to our large patio and dining areas for more views of the lake and the village of Sedi, from where you can hike or catch the cable car up to Sarangkot for vistas of the magnificent Annapurna mountain range. View and listen to nature at its finest in the hammock, or use these spaces for meditation, yoga and healing practices to re-energize your mind, body and soul. We follow an environmentally friendly and sustainable way of living by actively supporting the local community. Most of the produce on our menu is from the area, including organic seasonable vegetables and fresh buffalo milk from the village. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available on request or feel free to cook your own food using our shared kitchen. Guest access We consider all of our guests as a family member, so with the exception of living/sleeping areas reserved for other guests, you are free to roam the terraces, patios and gardens at your own leisure to enjoy the tranquillity and wonderful views. Other things to note Getting Here: Hidden Paradise Guest House & Retreat is accessible by foot via an uphill 200m trail, a substantial 10-15 minute hike (25 minutes by foot from Lakeside). Please let us know in advance if you need help with your luggage so that we can arrange for a porter to carry things up to the house. Transportation via 4x4 can also be arranged. When you leave or return to the house after dark, a torch is essential. Electricity: Power outages (load-shedding) are common in Nepal and it is advisable to bring with you a torch and a portable power bank in the unlikely event of a substantial interruption. Internet: Wi-Fi is available to all guests at Hidden Paradise Guest House & Retreat, although some areas have a stronger signal than others. If you are reliant on having a fast internet connection, then it is advisable to purchase a pre-paid mobile internet data pack in Nepal which can be connected to your laptop. We can assist you with this. Shopping: There are a number of local convenience outlets in the nearby village for essentials with much larger stores in and around the main tourist area of Lakeside, 25 minutes away by foot, or 5-10 minutes by taxi or local bus.
