Come relax in our private guest studio at ST' ISLE. It's nestled on a private hectare on a slope of forest next to Island Lake. In season there's a festive feeling with sailing, swimming, motor boat sport, canoeing and skiing on the Lake. Wilderness Village is 8km from the Lake and have 18 Restaurants, beautiful beaches, nature trails, and lots to do like Paragliding, sunset cruises, bicycle rentals etc. Come home to tranquility, beautiful sunsets and the evening sounds of the Lake. The space Uniquely situated next to Island Lake and a nature reserve, surrounded by natural forest, this little self catering guest cottage is perfect for those looking to escape the city while visiting the beautiful Garden Route. The studio is a tiny house situated next to the Lake. It is private and have it's own manual enterance gate with parking for one vehicle next to the studio. It's open plan, with lots of light. There is a small bathroom with shower only, and it is private. The kitchenette have a 2 hob gas stove, (no oven), large fridge/ freezer, microwave, electric frying pan and utencils to prepare basic meals. The sleeping area have a queen size bed, and situated next to it, a small inside lounge area that open up to the garden on one side and on to a private covered patio with a sitting and eating area and a braai area on the other side. There is a laundry 1.5km from the studio at Kleinkrantz for washing, fold and drying. There is a iron and iron board supplied in the studio. The cottage is inspired by my stays in Thailand and I like to offer guests more of an Island vibe outdoor area with a lovely ambiance with candles and a laid back feeling while you have a more softer finnish inside. The studio is most suitable for Paragliders as it is so close to the training school, and for young and international travelers that enjoy the outdoors and nature. The studio is fully stocked with all you might need like necessary spices for braai and cooking as I know International travelers can not travel with their own, and tea, coffee, milk, rusks and a first aid kit, Insect and mosquito repellant, beach bag, towels, and umbrella etc. We encourage our guests to relax, take in the sounds of nature, and enjoy the peaceful, setting. I will be available to greet you, answer any questions, and show where necessary things are. Keys can be left in the key-box upon check out and the gate can then just be pushed closed when guests depart. The main house is seperate from the guesthouse. Other houses are only vissable across the Lake. If you don't feel like preparing meals, it is only 8km to the tranquil Wilderness Village with a grocery store, liquor store, a pharmacy, and crafts for sale among others. There are 18 Restaurants in the area, pubs and coffee shops. There's also is a gas station only 5 minutes away from the guesthouse with basic groceries, and ATM. The Guesthouse is centrally located between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay and very easily accessible as we are only 1km from the N2 national road, 1.5km from the sea, 15km from the Mall, and 25km from George Airport. We have the 5 Lakes that is protected but Island Lake is one that is open for water sport and there is a day camp with braai areas next to the water with an entrance gate for boats and vehicles. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire open plan guest studio which consist of a small private bathroom, a kitchenette, lounge area inside, a sleeping area with Queen size bed that opens on to a large covered private patio with sitting and eating area with a braai. The guest studio is accessible via it's own entrance gate with safe parking right next to the studio and a garden on the other side. The studio with it's patio is separate and private from the main house which is higher up behind the guest house. Other things to note Please let my know your approxomate time of arrival or not later of the morning of your arrival, so I can plan accordingly. If you can only check in after 6pm, no problem, please just arrange with me. Although we love kids, the terrain is not safe for toddlers and young children. Area is used at own risk. There is one step into the bathroom. Smoking is allowed outside the studio and you may have day guests over. Contact me for any special requests.
