Mornings on the balcony, with the songbirds is a treat, and relaxing on the riverfront "treehouse" deck, is sublime. Restaurants, historic sites, hiking, fossil hunting, wineries, antiques & more are a short car ride away. The space Once my family's summer cottage, built in the 1950's, this place has always been our escape from life's hassles. With breathtaking scenery and amazing wildlife all around, we spend our days here enjoying the river and life outdoors. Our rental suite is named for the active osprey nesting platform right in front of our shoreline and is truly a bird and nature enthusiast's paradise. Binoculars are provided! In designing our suite, we set out to create a comfortable, functional space, filled with nostalgia and vintage objects from the original cottage and boathouse. If you're visiting simply to relax, or to work remotely, we think you'll find the indoors as appealing as the outdoors.
