Delightful renovated home, close to CBD & beaches

The pool is great for a swim with the kids on a hot summer's day. The house has lots of natural light, especially in the rumpus room with its 3m floor to ceiling windows. Our house is perfect for families and guests who are looking to relax or explore Melbourne - but please note it is not suitable for loud parties and gatherings The space UPDATE! We have recently completed a full bathroom renovation to add a second bathroom with a shower. We now have: - a main bathroom with a toilet, shower, bath and double vanity - a second bathroom with a toilet, shower and vanity ——————- Highlights include: * swimming pool * Netflix * 15 min drive to the CBD (depending on traffic) * 22 mins on the bus will bring you to the CBD * full kitchen * central heating and cooling * washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven etc Our home is an attractive renovated three bedroom house in Altona North. It features timber floors throughout, central heating and cooling, two bathrooms, a delightful garden and a swimming pool in the backyard. Self catering is easy with a spacious modern kitchen and a short walk to the local full sized supermarket. The bus stop is also only a short walk away, with a 22 minute bus trip taking you straight to the Melbourne CBD. Driving a car to the city is even faster, taking only 15 minutes (depending on traffic). If you enjoy beaches, a 7 minute drive will take you to beautiful Altona beach, or even better, Williamstown with its beaches and historic maritime village is also only a short drive away. There is a park and large playground less than 100m away, and also other parks and nature reserves in the local area that are well suited to children - such as Cherry Lake and the Newport Lakes. We have an unlimited high speed cable internet connection with a wifi router - perfect for doing holiday research or keeping the kids entertained. There is a 85" TV with Netflix provided. The beds are arranged as follows: * Bedroom 1 contains a comfortable queen bed * Bedroom 2 contains a double bed * Bedroom 3 contains a double bed. There is BBQ at the property. As this is our home, some of the cupboard / wardrobe space will be occupied by our possessions, but there will be plenty of space for you to use. We will not be present during your stay - you will have the whole property to yourself. Guest access You will have private use of the whole property - the house, garden and swimming pool. Other things to note IMPORTANT NOTE regarding parties: While our house & pool are well suited to guests - especially families - who are seeking a relaxing holiday, they are strictly not suited to people who are planning loud parties or gatherings which will disturb our neighbours. We have had problems with guests partying in the past, and the police have been called. We promised our neighbours that it wouldn't happen again. If you are planning to host a loud party or gathering, please do not book our house.
