FLINDERS beach cottage charm, close to village

Charming cottage, lovingly restored with spacious gardens, the ideal get-away for couples, families and friends to relax and unwind, just a stone's throw away from Flinders village and the beach. A cosy place for the perfect escape in summer or winter, with plentiful beaches, parks, cafes, golf courses, wineries and restaurants nearby. Great for holidays with family and/ or friends, and wedding guest accommodation for families or one or two couples. Very close to dog beach. The space The cottage has been lovingly restored and contains one master bedroom (queen bed) and a large second bedroom (four bunk beds). There is a cosy wooden fire heater in the lounge, plus a new air conditioner (cooling / heating). The lounge and kitchen (well equipped for entertaining) are open-plan, plus laundry (washing machine) and bathroom (toilet and shower). This is a relaxed beach-house setting. The back garden is fully fenced with beautiful lawn and some shady spots under the olive and fruit trees. The front garden contains a fire pit for BBQ's and is beautiful and sunny in the mornings; cool and shady in the afternoons. There are lots of outdoor chairs and tables for lounging around and entertaining in both gardens. There is a private driveway running for almost the full length of the property, which safely accommodates 3-4 cars. For entertainment - there's lots of outdoor games (e.g. Cricket, totem tennis, soccer balls), indoor games (e.g. Uno, Jenga, Pictionary, Monopoly) and books. We are able to leave kids' indoor toys if required. There's also a brand new trampoline in the front yard (Springfree) - the yard is so large that if you don't have kids it will not get in your way! Pillows, doonas and blankets are available (all new bedding); please bring your own doona covers, pillow cases, sheets and towels. Our cottage is most suitable for one couple or younger families; our best reviews are from families who enjoy the garden, trampoline and relaxed environment. There is a separate, one bedroom + bathroom bungalow on site - it's very quaint and modernly refurbished, has just been made available as a third bedroom + second bathroom (see separate listing "Cottage charm & bungalow, close to shops & sea") There is a key safe on-site allowing for no-fuss arrivals and departures, at your leisure and convenience. Other things to note Please note that the cottage (without the bungalow) is most comfortable for couples or families with young kids. As there is only one bathroom and cosy, it may be uncomfortable for larger groups or families with teenagers. Small pets are welcome. We prefer not to host larger dogs, but are happy to discuss noting that they require additional cleaning which would need to be at your cost. No pets on bedding, and please also clean up any pet mess in the garden before departure, with thanks.
