This 75 m² “Sky Suite” is the upper floor unit of the “Round House”, featuring a private entrance, a capacious living room awash with natural light, a panoramic view of your private garden overlooking Lake Phéwa, a big bedroom with a comfy king-size bed and a solid wooden working desk. Both the toilet and the bathroom are spacious as well. The fine restaurant Calm Pokhara and the main paraglider landing are just below the garden. You can watch paragliders land in front of you all day. The space The 75 m² or 805 square feet of indoor living space in the “Sky Suite” is awash with healthy natural light and boasts spectacular views. The inner spaces of the “Round House” have been sculpted in the moulded contours of a snail shell interior. Designed as a more generous rendition of a South African rondawel, the Round House conserves warmth in the winter and maintains coolness indoors in the summer. The expansive garden starts just outside of your private front entrance. You can recline on the chaise longue in your living room and watch the paragliders fly over the lake. The lawn beneath the trees provides additional creative space and features lovely panoramic views overlooking Lake Phéwa. A spiral staircase in the living room gives you unique private access to the rooftop. The railing has not yet been installed on the rooftop. So beware that access to the rooftop is at your own risk, although the rooftop view is even more spectacular than the panoramic view from the windows of your living room. Guest access A smooth serpentine stone path takes you from Calm restaurant Pokhara upwards through the green terraces of our botanical garden up to your own garden and private living space with a panoramic view of the garden and lake. Your private apartment is named the “Sky Suite” and comprises the entire upper floor of the Round House, which you access through your own private entrance atop a vine-clad stone staircase with railings on both sides. You have your own living room and bedroom and, of course, your private bathroom and toilet. During your stay The staff Calm resort Pokhara are always on hand to help you. They serve the best food in Pokhara at the Calm restaurant below your garden. So they are ever at the ready, but they will not intrude into your privacy unasked. The young crew is knowledgeable and can arrange tandem paragliding flights, trekking, transportation into town, bike rental and other types of logistics. Other things to note Just below your garden lies the fine restaurant called Calm Pokhara, manned by our friends and friendly young gastronomical team. You can have lunch or dine there and watch the paragliders land all day just in front of you, or you can watch the scintillations glistening and dancing on the surface of the lake, moving from east to west as the day progresses. Our staff will be happy to arrange a tandem paragliding or parahawking flight for you. If you need a change from the lovely green tranquility of your very own quiet botanical garden, then the hustle and bustle of Lakeside is never far away.
