Lychee House is located at the south end of Old Town and a five-minute walk to restaurants and shopping. Lychee House is a 200 sqm one-floor BOHO style home with a wider footprint, the view over the harbour and beyond to Ko Ngai and the archipelago is absolutely stunning. It has many amenities; including 2 new air-con bedrooms. The bedrooms have a king and queen sized beds, with rich stained Thai hardwood wood, in the living room (Fully AC) there is are two twin bed for extra guests. We have strong Wifi, and a OVERSIZED tub. A brand new full western kitchen with a full-sized fridge/freezer, range top , large sink, coffee maker, toaster, and all cooking utensils, flatware and dishes. The whole house and the outside deck you can enjoy good quality wifi. If you stay with us for more than a week, we provide a once-weekly cleaning service to make your stay pleasant. Our home dose not include electric, our check in host will bill you according to your usage, at local Gov. rate. The magic of Lanta Old Town is an intangible thing that's extremely hard to describe. Unlike many other Ko Lanta Villas, Lychee House is a part of a true working Thai fishing village that offers visitors the chance to stay in an unique and friendly community, that is also part of Traditional Thai village life and culture. Therefore there is the opportunity for much interaction with the local people and animals, whom you will observe working on the boats, and in the streets, going to the mosque or temple, along with children, geckos, dogs, birds, roosters, chickens, cats and so on. If you're looking for a serene, quiet villa miles from Thai life this is not the place. Our closets sandy beach is on the west coast is called Klong Nin. The famous beaches of Koh Lanta are located on the West coast, which is 10-25 km away, depending on which beach you would like to get to. Just walking distance from us, there is a little beautiful beach. It is not the best beach for swimming as the water can be quite muddy and murky and there are some rocks, but when the tide is high, you could definitely go for a refreshing bath. Being in a place like Thailand / SE Asia you could be visited by birds, geckos, monkeys, lizards, ants, cats, dogs, bugs, bats, roosters and perhaps even snakes. If you're looking for a pest free environment, far away from the jungle, and it’s inhabitants then Ko Lanta is not the place. Pets allowed after an additional security deposit to be discussed. A Note About The Tides: The highest tides are over 3 meters high, and are at the full moon and new {black} moon phase of EACH month, EVERY month. The normal tides are around 2.5 meters and change daily every 6 hours, for more information look at Phuket’s tide chart on the internet. The sea's clarity is very much influenced by the wind and waves, and therefore the time of the season. It can be stunning year around, but if stormy the sea is not clear. Lanta Old Town is a working fishing village with no sandy beach, The sandy beaches are on the west coast. Please Email us for monthly rates.
