The Clan Cabin

The Cabin is a 1 Bedroom cottage (interior 45m2) built in 2019 below our existing house and looking north over Tam O'Shanter Beach to Bass Strait. There is a queen bed, full kitchen, bathroom and laundry plus undercover outdoor area (20m2). The cabin overlooks Lulworth/Tam O'Shanter Beach (1km+ of sand). Note we have two newer cabins of same design listed under "Tam O Shanter Bayside Cabins (3)" The space The Cabin is equipped with linen, towels, crockery and cutlery. There is currently no wifi and phone coverage in the cabin is only with Optus and Telstra. Note that we usually only open booking availability 90 days ahead. NO SMOKING inside. Guest access All of the Cabin Other things to note Finding the Place: Look for Eagles Nest, a pink house with grey roof, about 50m below (to the right) about 30m from the end of Beachcomber place. Maps: Address is Beachcomber place, Lulworth. Note that Openstreetmap.org is reasonably accurate. Google maps not so much with lots of erroneous roads (we have told them). From Launceston, fastest way is usually shown correctly by Google maps - East Tamar highway (A8) to Mount Direction, Dalrymple Road (C809) about 8km to Industry Rd (C814) follow to end at Bridport Rd (B82) for 2km to Weymouth Rd (C816). All roads are sealed. The Bridport road (B82) and particularly Weymouth /Tam O'Shanter roads (C816/817) have lots of animals at dusk, and at night, possibly including Tasmanian Devils. Please drive slowly! Booking: We currently do not allow same or next day direct booking. You will have to send us a request. Note that this often seems to take many hours to come through from AirBnb - or is too cryptic to understand the meaning. Registration Details Exempt: This listing falls under the 'home sharing' exemption
