The space We are in the heart of this popular beach town. Our two bedroom apartment offers everything you need for your weekend getaway or a longer holiday in this popular seaside town. Floor to ceiling windows allows for natural light to filter through and with an easterly aspect you can see beautiful sunrises from the balcony. Two separate sliding doors gives you access to the balcony with a BBQ perfect for entertaining family and friends, plus allowing a nice sea breeze to cool you down on a hot Summers night. Features include heating, cooling BBQ and wireless intercom. Our location is central with everything at your doorstep including 3 supermarkets, retail shops and restaurants within walking distance. The main beach is only just a short walk. Only 20 mins drive to the iconic Bells Beach, which hosts the Rip Curl Pro at Easter plus with Torquay also being the gateway to the Great Ocean Road it is the perfect getaway to explore everything the Great Ocean Road and the Otway Ranges has to offer. Take a day trip to beautiful Lorne and visit Erskine Falls. Use our apartment as a base while you explore. Markets: January Every Thursday night in January we have the fabulous Nightjar Market. It is the best market going around with food flavours from all over the world, musicians, street performers, bars featuring local beers and wines, along with stalls from local artists designers and more. Let yourself go as you wander around this vibrant, exciting friendly market where you will spend hours just strolling around. On the 3rd Sunday of each month is the Torquay Cowrie Market held on the Torquay foreshore. With the beach as your backdrop, wander through the trees, tasting local produce, listening to music and browse through the market stalls for art, crafts, jewellery and more. Farmers Market - every Saturday morning the farmers market set up near the Surfcoast Council Offices for locals to come along and purchase local produce from Torquay and the surrounding area. Choose from fresh fruit, vegetables, cheeses and more. You never know what you might find. Events January see the Cadel Evans Bike Race ride through Torquay, with many cheer points set up to see the elite men and women from all over the world ride through on their way back to Geelong to finish off this gruelling race. It is becoming more and more popular every year. Easter The Rip Curl Pro @ Bells Beach is an icon to the area, bringing quality surfers from around the world each wanting the chance to hold the Bell Trophy. Thousands of people flock to the area to watch the men and women surf the waves of Bells Beach in one of the most beautiful parts of our Surfcoast. Guest access You will have full access to the apartment and there's also the convenience of free secure self parking in the underground carpark.
