'Les Ecuries' - are converted stables, characterful large house with original features. Securely enclosed within its own grounds. Perfectly situated between the idyllic coastal resorts of the Mediterranean and the breathtaking Pyrenees Mountains. With its own pool and beautiful terraced patio, it is an ideal place for exploring the local area - Canet beach, Vinca Lake, Villefranche de Conflent, Les Orgues. Fantastic walking, climbing and cycling opportunities abound. Versatile accommodation . The space 'Les Ecuries' is spread over 3 floors Ground Floor - features an open plan living area which flows through into a dining area comfortably seating 8 people. The dining table can extend to seat up to 12 people. The well equipped kitchen is just off the dining area. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor. This a lovely cosy room in winter with a huge wood burning fire for your use. In summer the house is designed to keep the heat out and is a pleasant temperature. From the kitchen you have access to the pool which is surrounded by decking and areas to lounge around the pool. The pool is surrounded by a fence for your security. On the first floor are 3 double bedrooms, one en suite and a family bathroom. Bedroom - The en suite bedroom Bedroom - The Olive bedroom Bedroom - The Mirrored bedroom On the second floor is a large light and airy attic space that has been set out as a bedroom, with 2 single beds. It's an ideal place for children and teenagers to chill out. This room is equipped with a bar football table and a separate area with a Nintendo Wii and PS4 games consoles. Extra sleeping can be arranged in this room as there are 2 double sofa beds. Please note we do not supply linen for the sofa beds or the baby cot. Outside there is parking for 2 cars and further parking in the car park (free) about 50 meters from the house. Meals can be eaten al fresco on the terrace. The garden is full of shrubs and fruit trees (help yourself to pears and pomegranates). Garage - the garage is used to store the bikes, beach equipment, loungers and pool furniture. There is also a washing machine for your use. Guest access Guests have sole access to the entire house, gardens, terraces, parking and pool. Other things to note The pool is only open in the summer from the end of May to the end of September - please check exact dates if you wish to reserve the house early or late in the summer. DOG FRIENDLY - We have a well behaved dog and we would welcome anyone that wants to bring their dog.
