Arty, stylish and with no attention to detail spared - this super cool and inspiring house has a brilliant London location (gets five stars from our guests) and yet feels like a quiet, spacious and calm place to retreat to. The house has been featured in two design/interior magazines and is also available as a shoot location. We love helping our guests so please just ask. (Sorry no parties or additional guests than on the booking) The space This space is unique because it is a beautifully renovated house with a lovely calm feel. Despite being in a super well connected part of London, you close the door and feel very quiet and relaxed. We are wider than the average London 5 bedroom house and so have lots of lovely lateral space for different parts of the family to hang out in. The kitchen diner is obviously the heart of the home and is fully equipped with everything you need - double oven, fridge, freezer, hot water tap and a steam oven. I do not clear the cupboards so you are welcome to use any condiments/oils etc for cooking. The fridge is always sparkling clean for you and again you are welcome to use any of the sauces in there. Also on the ground floor is a TV room with surround sound - netflix and Apple TV. This can also be set up as a playroom for smaller children. Then there is the double sitting room/garden room. This is a luxurious area to sit and relax with friends. Families with small children are welcome to stay but I prefer them to keep sticky fingers out of here and keep it as a sanctuary for the adults so just ask that you keep the door to this area closed for the under 5s. We have a log burner (wood is provided) and lots of sofas to lounge on, blankets to snuggle under and art books to read. The perfect place for a Sunday chill and read of the papers. This comprises of 5 bedrooms and the whole house can sleep up to 10 people. Rooms comprise of: First Floor: Master bedroom (super kingsize bed - sleeps 2) Ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and gorgeous deep antique bath Double room with a full size single high sleeper bed and a pull out futon Double room with a full size single high sleeper bed and a pull out futon Walk in shower room Top Floor: Double room with king size bed Ensuite bathroom Adjoining family room (double pull out bed and a pull out bed on the floor) - sleeps 3 When the whole house is rented breakfast for the first couple of days is provided. Towels and linen are provided. We have lovely garden with gas BBQ and you are welcome to use this is the weather is fine! We have a lovely home and like to look after it. We have a no shoes policy in the house and ask that no food or drink other than water is stored or consumed in anywhere other than the kitchen. There is space for 2 cars to park off street. We have great access to public transport and you can get into central London within 40 minutes - please do look at our other listings for reviews by our guests. We try to offer all our guests as much help as possible with queries, planning day trips and general advice. As a mother of three kids, I understand that safety in the home is of paramount importance. I have top of the range smoke detectors on every floor, a carbon monoxide alarm in both next to the boiler and the log burning stove, a fire blanket there too and in the kitchen and a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. We have high quality locks on all doors and an a alarm with panic button. Guest access You have access to the whole house. You are free to use anything in the kitchen - including any condiments, oils, laundry powder that they may find - please just replace anything that you finish. You will be left with some breakfast things for your first day, tea and Nespresso pods for the coffee maker. This is a working family home so we do not clear wardrobes or cupboards for you. Other things to note I have invested in the fastest wifi connection available in London - BT Halo.
