Excellently located mid-way between Mumbai and Pune, Mehek Villa is perched on a hillside overlooking the beautiful Kalote lake and set amidst a lush one-acre garden. Surrounded by the lower Sahyadri hills, the house is set adjacent to the lake. The patio swing and the gazebo are perfect lookout points and there are delightful walks along the dam leading to a waterfall. We care for your absolute comfort! To that effect, we provide - Air conditioned Bedrooms - Double inverters in case the power goes off. - WiFi - Toiletries like shower gel, shampoo, soap & geyser. - Medical kit. - Free & secure car parking area for at least 2-3 cars. - Fresh towels, bedsheets & pillow Covers. Staff accommodation is available at an additional cost. Let's give you a quick run of the space. BEDROOMS - There are 2 spacious bedrooms - 1 on the ground floor & another on the 1st floor. - Ground floor room has a Queen size poster bed & 1st-floor room has a king-size bed & a single bed. - 1st flr bedroom has 2 massive balconies. - Ground floor room is connected to the hall, kitchen & a patio with a swing. - Private attached bathrooms. BATHROOMS - Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. - The bathrooms are totally clean & tidy. - Both bathrooms have geysers, fresh towels & toiletries. COMMON AREAS - The living room has a dining table for 6 people. - The Living Room which is connected to the Patio has a swing & multiple sitting arrangements with a direct view of the Lake & the Hills. - The 1-acre property has many flowers & plants for you to explore. - There's a Gazebo outdoors for guests to chill & relax. - The top floor with its expansive balconies also houses several sitting arrangements including a swing & a shaded Picnic table to relax with spectacular views facing the villa. KITCHEN - The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, water purifier & washing machine. - The guest has unrestricted access to use the Kitchen. - Tastefully selected bone china & glass crockery is available. - Basic kitchen necessities like salt, spices, cooking oil, sugar, tea, etc are also available. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property (the main house and the one-acre garden that surrounds it) except the little cottage near the entrance gate which will be occupied by the host during your stay to make sure you are comfortable. Other things to note With us so far? You might be keen to know more about... FOOD Since we are private property, Guests are requested to kindly prepare their own meals. The room charge is inclusive of a hot Indian Breakfast which is complimentary. Guests need to prepare their own Meals in our fully equipped kitchen. Apart from some basic necessities like cooking oil, spices, salt, etc,...Guests are requested to bring their own groceries to prepare their meals as the nearest market is 10 kms away. There are multiple food joints/restaurants nearby that offer a variety of Indian, Chinese, Jain cuisines etc to choose from and can deliver to the house so they could be easy options for lunch and dinner. Menu card & contact details are kept at the villa if you want to order. The garden is filled with flowers, fruits, and vegetables and the gardener might even give you some to take home with you if they are ripe and ready :) BARBECUE Facility : On popular demand, we have a fully equipped bbq facility & our Manager Somnath can assist you in arranging the bbq for you. Guests need to bring the ingredients that they would like to bbq. This facility is currently closed due to monsoons. Home Truths While we do assure you a welcoming home & a lovely stay, these are some of the requests that we'd like to mention so that there are no unpleasant surprises later! - Pets are not allowed in the property. - In case of a power outage, power back up is available in the villa. - WiFi, although offered, is subject to network availability at any given time. - Only Breakfast is complimentary. You need to arrange your own lunch &dinner. We have a fully functional kitchen with all basic requirements or you can order from nearby restaurants. - No additional visitors besides the booking group will be allowed. - We request all guests to be polite and respectful to our caretakers who do a fantastic job taking care of Mehek Villa. - All guests are requested to carry their own slippers to wear inside the house. - All guests needs to provide us a copy of their valid govt. issued photo id. - The provisions kept at the property are only for use at the villa, not for carrying it home. - Since, Our property is surrounded by nature, Guests are requested to carry items such as insect repellents & the likes for their own use. ADDITIONAL COSTS - Staff accommodation can be provided at Rs.1000/night for drivers. - All additional payments need to be paid upfront & are requested to be paid at least 2 days prior to arrival.
