Namaste! We are two generations in one house and we are happy to welcome you in our family. You will eat food which comes mostly from our garden and you will drink our special nepali milk tea, where the milk comes fresh from our two cows :-) We are a Nepali family who are still living with our religion and the old traditions and the way of treating visitors with respect, kindness and the hospitality the Nepali are known for. The space Our house is situated in a rural, peaceful area. Across the street of our house you can find yourself in the jungle. Even if we are at a silent place there are just 10-15 walk to the tourist area town "Sauraha". Also we can provide you cycles or other motor transport if you request. My husband Dilu will take you to his daily walk in the jungle to see the sunset if you want, it's for free. Mostly on that walk our visitors can see rhinos, because there are not to far away from our area. Safari Tours, Jungel walk, Canoeing, Elephant-riding/bathing and more can be also organised from Dilu. In the morning we provide for you continental or Nepali breakfast. (If you want to feel yourself more deep in the Nepali culture you are also very welcome to have Dhal bhaat at 10 a.m. with us) In the evening we are providing for you Dinner together with our family. And if you are interested, we can show or teach you our way of cooking Nepali traditional food. If you want to do a non-tourist program you can visit my Day Care Center, it's directly in the back of our house. I have open it in 2012 and from that time my aim is to give poor children a chance to get a daily routine, proper food and the connection to their family's to support them as much as i can. The Center hold itself only by donation and you should know that the room price goes to the Day Care Center and the Dinner price is for our family. Guest access We can come to pick you by motorbike at the bus station. It is very easy to take the bus to Kathmandu or Pokhara. During your stay In my home all the time you have a member of my family and we will here if you need some help. We can help you to organise your different safari and to give you some advice. Usually i will be at the day care centre during the day but there will normally be people around the house :)
