Nice villa in the countryside

Only 10 minutes by car from Yundum Airport, in Farato near Brikama, is our "white house" in the countryside. The compound consists of a main house, a security guard's cottage, a courtyard on the front and a seating area on the back of the main house. Two rooms are available for guests, as well as a living room and kitchen on request. A beautiful orange tree in the middle of the courtyard attracts large and small birds that will wake you up in the morning. The space The two double bedrooms with a double bed and wardrobe offer a comfortable sleeping option for 2 to 4 people. Each bedroom has a bathroom with toilet and shower. The rooms can be booked individually. If you want to use the kitchen and living room, you have to rent it in addition (same price as a room). Since the end of October 2016, we have had Wi-Fi, but it is not very fast. In the living room there is a TV (satellite). Both are included in the price. Guest access Guests have access to the courtyard and the seating area behind the house. Behind the house there is a room with a washing machine. This can be used. But you have to provide the washing powder yourself. In the dining area, there is a modern spacious refrigerator that you can fill with your own supplies. It is lockable and has a freezer. Kitchen and living room can be rented. During your stay Personally, I am only there during my holidays. Otherwise, I live in Switzerland. Our manager Majar and his deputy Dembo are on site. They use the small house next door. They both speak Mandinka, Wollof and English. If they are not teaching or studying, they can help you organize your Gambia trip. My niece Kady doesn't speak English that well, but she's happy to do the cooking and washing for you for a fee. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want a local number for your phone, our manager Majar will show you where to buy the SIM card or do it for you. There is a TV in the house. You can receive channels from Gambia and Senegal via satellite. We now have a washing machine that you can use. You have to pay for the laundry detergent yourself.
