Private In-Law Apartment by Beach

Great weekly summer rental in Matunuck, RI. Redone one bedroom in-law apartment in quiet, beach neighborhood. Short walk to South Kingstown Town Beach, Potters Pond (at end of street) for kayaking, market, surf shop, laundry, the Ocean Mist, etc. The space Redone in-law apartment with comfortable living room with large flat screen TV with cable and dvd player. Bedroom with closet, dresser, and comfortable queen size bed. Kitchen with full stove (added for summer of 2015) with all basic kitchen utensils. Also has microwave, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, and coffee maker. A comfortable couch with a pullout full size bed replaced the futon (Aug 1, 2015). Outside there is a small deck with a grill with side burner. Beach chairs and towels provided. Can also provide (if requested) two beach cruiser bikes, boogie board, or 2 person kayak & a paddle board (which are great for Potters Pond right at the end of the street). Easy paddle across the pond to east matunuck beach. Quiet, summer neighborhood with a great Matunuck Beach vibe. Walk right to south kingstown town beach. Pet friendly if you have a pretty well behaved furry friend. The in law apartment has a locked door that attaches to the main house we live in…it’s possible your dog could hear our dog. If you have a dog that is a non stop barker in that type of situation it may not be the right place for you. But generally we don’t mind a few normal barks and understand. Window AC unit is available if requested but usually a pretty good sea breeze. Guest access Two beach cruiser bikes available. Bodyboard for beach. Two seater kayak, one seater kayak, and paddle board possible for pond if requested. 2 beach towels and beach sun tent are in apartment to use. Books for the beach if you need them. Just bring sunscreen. Other things to note We love dogs but there is a locked door separating the two houses. If your dog is an extreme barker they may sense that my dog is on the other side of the door.
