Blythe River Boathouse - Waterfront Shack

From the bush back drop to where the river flows into the sea; this is your cosy riverfront escape - perfect accomodation for two. As soon as you drive down the little lane way to BLYTHE RIVER BOATHOUSE, you will feel another world away and your stresses will dissolve. The space Blythe River Boathouse is the perfect place to escape and unwind. Inside is homely and cozy, with peaceful water views. Our sunny open plan living area enjoys large windows, Nectre wood stove which creates real cosines, the choice of the built in day bed or chesterfield lounge to curl up on and relax, and our cute cottage style kitchen has everything you will need. In the cabinet is a tv hidden away. Relax and bathe in the clawfoot bath, sit your drink on the window ledge and watch the river surrounds whisper in. The bedroom is another sanctuary with a comfy bed and a nice chair for you to read a book, along with an antique wardrobe for storage. Our little deck is the perfect place to soak up the sun or use to BBQ too cook up a local catch or beautiful local grass fed meat, while there is also plenty of grass which is perfect for picnics (we have a picnic basket and blanket for you!) and with the river at your door step you can go swimming (Jan/Feb!), boating and fishing - all without leaving the property. Guest access We have easy parking and the shack is all yours! A few days before your arrival we will message you access details. Other things to note Please note there is a slight background noice from the distant highway at Blythe River Boathouse and the odd train goes over the bridge, which only takes one minute to pass. We live next door ourselves and it's just normal background noice to us, a bit like a hum! Blythe River Boathouse is not suitable for kids or pets due to our soft furnishings and having the hazard of water out the front. We have an enhanced cleaning routine. Registration Details DA2019094
