Nestled in the mountains this charming property is home to multiple exquisite gardens. We are your hub for all things outdoors. Ecusta Trail is five minutes from us. Carl Sandburg Home, DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest are just a few of the outdoor opportunities close by. We are convenient to Main Street Hendersonville and Asheville Airport as well as many breweries, wineries, and restaurants. Relax in the hot tub after a day of exploring. The space This a private apartment with a separate entrance in a secluded neighborhood. We live in the main house above the apartment. Our property serves as a certified wildlife habitat. We are surrounded by beautiful woodland and gorgeous terraced gardens with lots of unique touches. Inside the apartment the space is light and airy with a homey feel. The spacious bedroom features a private patio and large closet, queen bed and Roku TV with a variety of streaming services. The bedroom includes a desk perfect for working on a laptop as well as a cozy reading area with chair and side table. We’ve included lots of magazines and brochures to keep you up to date on local happenings. A patio is attached to the bedroom and looks out over the woods. Our guests love drinking their coffee or sipping an adult beverage here. It's perfect for experiencing the fall colors and the winter view is breathtaking. Guest access Full access to apartment, patio off bedroom. Hot tub. One parking space. Free Wi-Fi Other things to note We live on the side of a mountain...therefore we have a steep driveway. If this makes you uncomfortable there is plenty of room to park at the top of the driveway in the cul de sac which is flat. Please be advised that if your tires are bald (or close) you may have trouble getting out. In this case we advise parking in the cul de sac and walking down. We have listed our hot tub as private, as you will not share the hot tub with anyone during your stay. The hot tub is visible from our living quarters however we close our curtains whenever you’re using it to give you added privacy. Stairs are required to gain access to Airbnb and all outdoor areas. There is also a small step from floor to shower in the bathroom. There is not a thermostat located inside the Airbnb. The only thermostat is upstairs and controls the entire home. We keep it set at 70 but we can adjust it for your comfort. You will need to reach out to us through the Airbnb app and we will be happy to adjust accordingly. There is also a space heater located in the bedroom closet for your comfort. We live upstairs from the apartment so there is some potential for noise mainly in the form of footsteps. Although we do our absolute best to keep this to a minimum. We provide a white noise machine and complimentary ear plugs for light sleepers. We have one very sweet and affectionate Dog named Sassy. You may see her outside during your stay. She loves to have her belly scratched.
