Salt and Stone Retreat, luxury in heart of Cowes

Salt and Stone Retreat has been lovingly renovated and enjoyed by our young family. We love it so much, we can't help but want to share it with the world. The instant you walk in you are overcome with a feeling of 'ahhh, let the holiday begin'. Decorated in white and earthy tones with a mix of calming coastal blues, all linens and furnishings have been chosen with relaxation and comfort in mind. Bookings come with a warning.... you may never want to leave. The space The property features three private queen rooms, one with ensuite featuring toilet, vanity and waterfall shower. The fourth bedroom is what we like to call the ultimate bunk room! 2 built in queen beds on the bottom and two singles on top. This room has a wall mounted tv and dvd player along with a selection of dvd's and toys available. We have a large main bathroom with walk in shower, vanity, freestanding bath with a seperate toilet. The white modern kitchen is appointed with top of the range Blanco appliances, dishwasher, electric cooktop and under bench oven. Stocked with all the tools and appliances you will need to cook up a storm. The large kitchen island looks out over a huge open plan living dining area, equipt with a family dining table seating 10. Love fresh air? just open the bi-fold doors and servery window and flow out onto bespoke tiled balcony. Just relax and watch the world go by, or fire up the built in bbq for the quintessential aussie feast. The main living area features large comfy modular couch, gas log fireplace, reading nook, 55 inch smart tv netflix enabled with surround sound. If you prefer to spend time outside, there is a gorgeous red brick outdoor fireplace surrounded by spacious decking and a beautiful backyard big enough to kick a footy or play one of our outdoor games provided. Open up the underhouse garage and find the ultimate games room with pool table, dart board and flatscreen tv with streaming services enabled. Located just a stones throw (about a minute) from our beautiful sandy beach, spend the day at the beach swimming, exploring or take a relaxing walk along lovers lane into town. With a variety of local cafes, restaurants and specialty shops, Cowes has something for everyone. Don't feel like going into town? The local football oval, YMCA, tennis courts, skate park, netball courts and playground are all located directly across the road. In both summer or winter you will be spoilt for choice and never run out of things to do. Any smokers are required to smoke outside the home and use the
ashtray provided. Domestic Noise: The Residential Noise Regulations list (provided by the EPA) outlines that noise is unreasonable, if it can be heard in a neighbour’s home outside of the below times. Please be considerate of neighbors and understand that we reserve the right to ask you to leave if we receive recurrent noise complaints. Any noise complaint fines will be passed onto the guest. Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 10.00pm Friday 7.00am - 11.00pm Saturday 9.00am - 11.00pm: Sundays 9.00am - 10.00pm Party Groups: We strictly prohibit party groups and schoolies, we reserve the right to ask you to leave in any situation where there is excess noise, unauthorized guests or damage to property. Please note we do not rent to people under 25 years of age. Linen: All linen is provided. Including sheets, quilt covers, pillow cases, bath towels, tea towels. Please note beach towels are not provided, please bring your own. Cleaning: To uphold the high level of standard we offer our guests, the property must be left neat and tidy, as you found it. A standard clean is included in your stay however please see below items that need to be completed by the guest before checkout to avoid any additional cleaning charges: Please remove shoes inside the house to protect floor coverings • Wash and put away all dishes • Clean BBQ • Remove any rubbish and empty indoor bins • Remove any excessive sand and dirt • Leave oven and fridge empty and clean .
