The space Nestled on the slopes of Mt Arthur, overlooking the village of Lilydale in Northern Tasmania, The Trig offers a one bedroom self contained eco studio in a natural, peaceful environment. This unique architect designed studio is luxuriously appointed and showcases contemporary furniture, designed and crafted in Tasmania mixed with eclectic found and recycled objects. All linen and toiletries are organic. This sustainable artistic accommodation is powered by its own hydro electricity and solar energy. It is only a 20 minute drive from Launceston and its pristine surroundings make it the perfect place for a rejuvenating getaway. The Trig is located in a secluded area on a 50 acre bush and farm property. Dine on the deck on fine Tasmanian gourmet and organic produce. Enjoy amazing views across the rolling farms and bushland to the Tamar River and Bass Strait by day and spectacular sunsets and starry skies by night. Awake in the morning to the sounds of birds and watch the native wildlife grazing at your doorstep. Take a short bushwalk on the property or continue up Mountain Rd to follow the Mt Arthur track to the summit (5 hrs return). Curl up in front of the wood fire with a book, DVD or music. Perhaps indulge in a glass of local wine while bathing in the outdoor tub on the deck. The Trig is secluded, you wont see us unless you choose to! Included is an organic breakfast comprising of granola, fresh farm eggs, sourdough bread,tasmanian gourmet condiments and an organic selection of teas and coffee with access to a vegie garden (seasonal). There is a roll top bath under the stars with soft robes for your use. Guest access You will have access to The Trig, a self contained eco studio, the farm to see the chooks and collect eggs, the vineyard and several wilderness walks. For the adventurous there is a 5 hr return walk up Mount Arthur. A vegie garden and a composting worm farm is also onsite.
