Swiss Hospitality Guest Room

This is a guestroom with a queen size bed in a 3-bedroom house located on a quiet and tree lined neighborhood street. The bedroom is nicely furnished and is on the second floor. The space I have no Alp-horns, but I offer you a guestroom with a queen size bed in a 3-bedroom house located on a quiet and tree lined neighborhood street. The house was built around 1920 and has original gumwood trim and leaded windows. The bedrooms are upstairs with a queen size bed in the main guest room. It has a nearly new, firm but comfortable mattress and there is plenty of space to put away your things in the closet or the dresser. In the summer, I install a window air conditioner. If there are more than just the two of you, you can also rent my secondary bedroom which has a single and a trundle bed (if available). This room is also great for a single traveler who is ok with a single bed at a 10% discount. Even if the calendar says that I am busy you may want to check with a short note and I may be able to accommodate you. There is a big shared bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms. It has a bathtub and a shower with a big showerhead. There is also a half bathroom downstairs. In the front of the house, there is a nice porch that can be used for resting or dining and watching the comings and goings. You will find a quiet back yard with vegetable beds and a picnic table. If you come in the Summer or Fall, some mulberries, raspberries, tomatoes, or pears may just be ripe and ready for your picking. For the active visitor I do have a couple of bicycles (not fancy) to tour the city. I will generally make the driveway available for your parking, but there is also ample parking available on the street in front of the house. Pets are negotiable. You will find stores and restaurants within 3 Minutes walking distance and so are bus stations. A couple of hand me down bicycles are available, use at your own risk. Guest access In the recently renovated kitchen you can store, cool, or heat up your food and eat at the breakfast nook or in the dining room. You may also relax in the living room where during those cold winter evenings I oftern keep a fire going in the fireplace. You may also relax or dine on the front porch or in the backyard. During your stay I like to meet people staying at my house and will provide you information about the house, the neighborhood, and Rochester as you need and request. In general I am busy with my own projects and tasks and like to fade into the background when you have what you need. But please let me know if I can help or things are not quite as you expected.
