Our lovely artist's home

Our family home was built over the years on the ruins of an old agricultural press according to our desires and way of life. Its unique and authentic atmosphere will charm you. The space You will be charmed by its uniqueness and authenticity. The house is surrounded by a large garden and a swimming pool. It is composed of two buildings and organized around large terraces. There are 8 rooms (sleeps 15) and all the bedding was changed in April 2023. The house is fully equipped and internet is available in wifi. The swimming pool is separated from the garden and the house by a wall for the safety of the children. A cleaning lady takes care of the house and the gardener takes care of the pool and the terraces during your stay (see below). Guest access Car or scooter required to travel on the island and access the house. Aegina is fast and easy to access from the airport, which is very convenient when you are travelling with kids. From Athens Airport, take the bus or the train to the Pireaus (1h to 1h30). In Piraeus, take a boat to Aegina (gate E8). There is a boat every hour or so and it takes 45 minutes- 1h15 to get to Aegina. Our house is located 15 minutes away from the port of Aegina. Other things to note 🧾 New Climate Resilience Tax (effective January 2025) As of January 2025, Greek authorities have introduced a “climate resilience tax”, which is mandatory for all tourist accommodations. For this property, the amount is: • €15 per night during high season (April through October) • €4 per night during low season (November through March) This tax is ALREADY INCLUDED in the rates. It contributes to funding measures for the prevention and response to the impacts of climate change in Greece. Our cleaning lady comes every Wednesday. If you want her to come more, do not hesitate to ask us, we will organize this. Additional charges will be at your expense. Also, from the 10th traveler and/or 2 weeks of rental, an additional contribution to the cleaning costs will be asked. As a reminder, our pricing policy is the following: from the 5th traveler : 30€ / night / person (already included in the price) & also from the 17th person (because it is impossible to book for more than 16 people on the site).
