Quiet rural setting overlooking the Mahurangi River ,Te Kapa inlet and farmland .Lots of native bush and wild bird life .Perfect retreat to relax and read Matakana area has wineries ,restaurants ,art galleries ,beaches ,regional parks and a farmers market . As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.di The space A self contained kitchenette and use of BBQ facilities .Please note the BBQ is only available during the warmer months (we pack it down over winter). The kitchenette has a microwave ,2 hot plates ,jug ,toaster ,electric frypan,airfryer and a fridge/freezer .We provide some ingredients so you can make breakfast in your room when you are ready. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the outdoor dining/BBQ area . You are also very welcome to wander around the gardens and orchard. Other things to note We are down a private shared driveway which is unsealed .Access and parking is very good
