All the comforts of home in your private bedroom & bath. The bedroom includes a queen size bed with a pillow top, memory foam mattress, two pillows, a small microwave & hot water pot, cups, tea/coffee & hangers in the closet. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom. Note no kitchen or TV access. The space Welcome to our holistic suburban home. Here you'll find a relaxing escape with plants, crystals, candles and more. Drink your morning tea in the back yard garden and watch the squirrels, bunnies & birds. We grow herbs, vegetables, fruits and flowers. If the weather isn't conducive to being outside, browse the books in your room (just make sure to leave them when you go). Check out all of the beautiful crystals, over 100 of them! Or ask for a crystal tour - we're happy to show them off! We will ask you to remove your shoes at the front door. We use no pesticides or herbicides in our garden and landscaping or interior. We have no chemicals in our home and our bedding and towels are washed with gentle soaps. We have no carpet or pets (just a couple rugs, so folks with allergies should be comfortable.) You are welcome to hang out in the front room/sitting area or the yard but the family room, dining room and kitchen is reserved for family. If you need to store something in the refrigerator, we can accommodate that. The room has a small fold down desk large enough for a laptop or tablet and a chair for you to work comfortably in the room. We ask that you refrain from smoking of any kind on the property - we sometimes burn incense, palo santo or sage so please let us know if you think that will bother you. There is no TV in the room. If you would like visual/audible entertainment please use your personal device (phone, computer, tablet) with headphones. If you would like use of the garage, we can make that available for you with advance notice for an additional fee. Great for the hot months July-September and snowy months November-April. Go ahead and reserve the room and let us know you'll be needing the garage and we can add that on - or contact us first and we can set the total amount included in your initial booking. Guest access Your bedroom and bathroom will be private and used only by you. Feel free to browse the books in the room (just return them before you leave). Relax or get some fresh air in the back yard garden. Lots of places to sit, watch the squirrels, rabbits and birds. The family room, dining room and kitchen are for our family but you can certainly store something in the refrigerator if needed. During your stay We have busy schedules but work from home the majority of the time. Other things to note We have a healing studio in the home and can offer Reiki sessions, intuitive readings (using crystals), and have a small crystal store on site where you can browse or purchase crystals, incense, etc. Contact your host if you'd like to add a balancing/relaxing Reiki session, or an intuitive reading for you or a group while you're in town.
