Part of the house in a wonderful, unique location. The house is located on a steep slope and is built over several half-floors. It offers a unique view over Lake Sihl, has a lot of charm, looks modern and is very open. Fantastic outdoor space with open fireplace. We try to harm the environment as little as possible and therefore only heat with wood over a large stove. Unfortunately, the location is completely unsuitable for wheelchairs and not ideal for disabled people. The space The part of the house was renovated and furnished 5 years ago in a modern way and with a lot of attention to detail. It's the place where I live alone with my children. Please behave accordingly and appreciate the trust. The children's rooms are private and not accessible. The apartment is open plan, partly over half floors and offers a high, contemporary comfort. My children are used to dealing with stairs and steps and grew up without any damage. However, I do not recommend my place for families with toddlers and would decline any liability in this regard. Living room: With a view of the fireplace, in pleasant warmth, you can indulge in my book wall, the TV (cable/Netflix/video) or simply the view. Direct access to the balcony. You can find almost everything on my bookshelf. Architecture, design and various specialist books. Fiction primarily in German. But there is also a lot in English or French. And yes, I've read them. There are also children's books in front of the entrance to the children's rooms. Kitchen and dining area/ terrace: the modern kitchen with steamer, oven, microwave actually offers everything the hobby chef needs... My dining table is huge. Perfect for any occasion. Next to the kitchen is a small guest toilet. From the kitchen you can directly access the large terrace/garden with an open fireplace. If you are not practiced in dealing with axes and the like, I recommend that you take it slow... Bathroom: one floor down is the bathroom with tub, nice shower with rainfall shower and normal shower. The floor is connected to the wood-burning stove in the living room via a storage room and is nice and warm in the morning (if you have made a fire!) If you scrape the water away a bit after showering, it helps me with cleaning, but I won't chase you halfway around the world for that... Bedroom: Still a bit simply furnished but it's evolving... smile... It has clothes racks, hangers, a few drawers. Personally, I never heat the bedroom, but I'll leave you a small electric oven in case you need it warmer. Garage: the garage can also be used (by appointment!) for sports equipment. Ski, bike, snowboard, etc. Animals: I have cats and two rabbits. They are nutritionally provided during your stay unless you don't mind filling the rabbits' bowls. By arrangement. The cats go in and out and will at most look at you a little funny or dispute the place on the carpet. Cats are not allowed on the table and in the bedrooms!
