The space LIVING QUARTERS (1st Floor) Enjoy a light-filled open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, wood beams and huge windows. Ocean breezes usually provide the perfect temperature, but if needed we have a heat/AC unit and an electric fireplace. LIVING ROOM Get cozy and watch movies on the Smart TV and relax on the two sofas that comfortably seat six, in addition to two side chairs. KITCHEN Make meals in the spacious kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, premium cookware and knifes. The coffee station features a top-of-the-line Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker and coffee grinder, plus a complimentary bag of craft coffee from Case Coffee Roasters. Also provided: a gas range and stove, microwave, dishwasher and granite bar with four barstools. DINING ROOM Seat six around the dining table, with four more seats at the kitchen bar. SLEEPING QUARTERS (1st floor) Bedroom 01 Sleep two in the downstairs bedroom, featuring a new queen mattress, in addition to a full closet for storage. Wood beams on the ceiling add character and charm. There is a full bath with a bathtub and shower directly off this bedroom. SLEEPING QUARTERS (2nd floor) Bedroom 01 This breezy, larger bedroom features a new king mattress, a luxurious linen duvet/comforter, a 33" smart tv, as well as a private balcony with a peek-a-boo ocean view. There is a full closet for storage and jack-and-jill access to a full bath, with a bathtub and shower. Bedroom 02 This bright, charming room is perfect for kids or adults and features two twin beds with new mattresses and a closet. There is jack-and-jill access to a full bath with bathtub and shower. BATHROOMS Both bathrooms provide complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body and hand soap. A hairdryer and iron are available. BACKYARD The fully-fenced, landscaped backyard offers a wrap-a-round deck for relaxing, with small ocean views and mature trees. We provide a BBQ for your use, as well as plenty of comfy patio and lounge chairs. This is a great yard for kids to play in. PATIO The large side patio features a fire pit with plenty of Adirondack chairs for roasting marshmallows and hotdogs, with roasting sticks provided in the garage closet. (Guests must provide their own firewood- you can grab some at Fred Meyer, a 3 minute drive.) There's lots of room for running around and playing with the corn hole set, and littles will love playing in the pea gravel with the beach toys provided. Drying racks for towels and wet clothes are provided. *Please note that the outdoor shower is intended for rinsing off, and is not heated. ENTERTAINMENT We offer free WiFi. There is a selection of local interest books, magazines and guidebooks to keep you occupied, as well as a selection of board games and toys. Feel free to login to any of your apps like Netflix or Hulu on the two smart TVs. BEACH GEAR When you're heading out to the beach or river, we've got you covered with beach towels, a variety of sand toys/buckets/shovels and beach chairs. GARAGE/LAUNDRY ROOM We have a two car garage available to you for parking or storage. There is a new washer and dryer in the garage for your use, as well as a Ping Pong and Foosball table. THE LOCAL AREA The Harris Beach Bungalow is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, a few blocks from the ocean. We are on a hill, so the backyard views are not obstructed by any houses, and you can see the ocean on the horizon when it's clear. A paved bike/walking path along the coast is a quick 5-10 minute walk from the house. You'll want a car to get around and drive to the nearby beaches and sights. Downtown Brookings, with all the amenities you need, is a 3 minute drive. There is a Fred Meyer and Dollar General within a 3 minute drive. Guest access The entire property is available to you, so make yourself at home! The garden shed and the storage closet under the stairs are the only places "off limits".
