Description

This small studio (approx. 20m2) is located in our family home, on one level overlooking a small garden where you'll enjoy eating and strolling from spring onwards. It comprises a small room with a fitted kitchen, shower room and toilet. Ideal for a maximum of 2 people (studio unsuitable for a baby under the age of two). Ideal location: 10 minutes' walk from the town centre, 5 minutes from the Cité de la Gastronomie (Monge tram stop), bus stop, bakery and Carrefour Market 1 minute away. The space The privileged location of this small studio means that you can walk to Place de la Libération in no more than 10 minutes. A free shuttle bus (City Bus) at the end of our street runs every 10 minutes and can also take you into the city centre. A tram stop (T2) and bus stops (L5 and L12) are nearby. Our neighbourhood can also take you to the Port du Canal de Dijon for a stroll or to the Cite de la Gastronomie (5 minutes' walk). Guest access The studio has its own entrance. The garden is L-shaped with one wing in front of our entrance door and the other in front of the studio door. This is a space we might have to share on sunny days (we take our meals out in the garden as often as we can !). The kitchen is fully equipped (induction cooking, electric kettle and coffee machine, teapot, dishes and cooking utensils, fridge). We ask you to leave the studio such as you found him upon your arrival: bathroom, dress, plates, refrigerator cleaned. Made and orderly dishes. Emptied trash can. A 30-euro pledge upon your arrival for the package household will be asked and will be restored to you if the studio was cleaned well in your departure. Sheets are supplied for the double bed (160cm width and 205cm length). Towels are also provided. Wi-Fi is free. A door in the apartment leads to Judith’s workshop, the landlady, who is also a visual artist. This door remains locked to ensure you peace and quiet during your stay. We live in this 3-floor house with our 2 sons and one daughter aged 13, 11 and 3. IMPORTANT TO READ CAREFULLY : since January 2019 Dijon Métropole requires us to charge a tourist tax of 2,20 euros per night (5,5% of the price of the overnight stay excluding tax). You will have to pay us this tax based on the number of nights you arrive. Thank you Other things to note Originally from Bordeaux, we love good wine and good food! Matthieu, a sociologist specialising in food and other subjects, will be delighted to show you around Les Halles market and the various producers and wine merchants he loves. Judith will be delighted to give you information about current exhibitions in Dijon. The studio is ideally located: Just a 10-minute walk from the city centre and the Cité de la Gastronomie.
