Artist's mansion in the pink city

In the very upmarket central area of Jaipur, designed by artist shan is a house of handpainted walls and art. In the quiet&green neighborhood minutes away from all major tourist attractions. Its a beautiful house of the family, decorated in traditional Rajasthani style but with a modern twist! Shan's art studio is also in the house and you will enjoy seeing his art all around the house! The house has been featured in many magazines and recently was also featured on national TV on Luxe Interiors The space Close to all the major tourist attractions. Shan himself conducts heritage walks and Jaipur food walks. The family is known for its specialty in rajasthani food. Enjoy the beautiful courtyard with hand painted walls and garden. Shan's mother runs a boutique ladies apparels, bespoke garments and is involved in reviving jaipur's ancient craft of gotta Patti, one can also have the opportunity to see the karigars(craftsmen) in action in the workshop above the house. Also shan's studio is in the house and you may also get to see him paint. All rooms are Air-conditioned. With attached bathroom, 24-7 warm water. Free wifi and ample space for parking. The room is for 2 people, an extra bed can be added Incase you are three people in the same room. We also now have an additional guest room with an attached bathroom that can be booked separately. listed as Art house in Jaipur Guest access Guests will have access to the courtyard, the lounge, the drawing room, the dinning room and of course the guest rooms. The owners bedrooms are off limits. Please see other notes! During your stay It totally depends on the guests. We love to entertain our guests. He's extremely playful and very very loving. he's now four years old. Bruno loves to steal socks and small towels, please keep your door shut of your room 😊 Other things to note Please book in advance if you wish to go on the heritage craft walk with shan. The charges are ₹4500 per person. Also lunch and dinner ( home cooked rajasthani meals both vegetarian and non vegetarian) are available on request at an extra charge of ₹950 per person. you can also take advantage of the opportunity to learn how to cook a typical Indian meal ( devyani, shan's wife is an excellent cook.) Cooking session is available at an extra cost of ₹3500 per person including the meal they have prepared. We are extremely house proud people and love to keep our house well looked after and always welcoming. There are so many other things to look at in this house full of art. Please ask Shan to give you a tour of the house and show all the art also ask him to show you the workshop upstairs where you can see the Craftsmen working live on intricately embroidered garments designed by his mother who is a famous Designer!!(this tour is free, provided Shan is at home and available when you are free to see) our guests have loved this free tour!! now we have an additional room available so in total we have 2 guest rooms that can be booked and total number of guests that can be accommodated is 5 Just a bit if trivia...We are a stones through away from the place where they shot the movie called Second Best exotic Marigold hotel. Me and my wife also own a 9 bedroom boutique hotel called LAALEE. it's located in the same neighborhood, just a 3 minute walk from our home! it has a wonderful cafe that can be reserved for a meal etc. it has been featured in many magazines like Condé Nast traveller.
