Just a 3.5 hours drive from Mumbai and a 3.5 hours from Pune, the property is located at a vantage point of being in the southern end of Kashid, away from the main hustle and bustle of the crowd. The property is situated on the river bank; with an unobstructed view of the Phansad forest hills. The property is just 500m walk to the beach. Thus our location puts us at a unique advantage from views to accessibility.   Design and functionality: The villa has been designed contemporary and practical to comfortably accommodate upto 8 guests. The property has 3 bedrooms, all air-conditioned. The master bedroom being on the top floor with an attached washroom and a very large verandah with one of the best views. The middle floor has 2 cozy bedrooms, a sit out with a common attached bath. Our rooms are well spaced and comfortable with focus on quality linen, upholstery and furniture. The ground floor contains the dining area with colonial furniture, a fully functional kitchen, a wash room and a verandah. The villa is surrounded with well-manicured lawns and includes a pond. We also have a Rabbit coop as kids love them.       We have truly understood that most of our guest spend least amount of time inside the villa, mostly to relax and sleep. Thus we have put a lot more emphasis on open spaces where in kids can run around safely; play a game or sport from Badminton, Frisbee and Basketball provided. Adults can engage too or just lounge around by the river side in the open air sit out. The lack of a swimming pool is compensated by the close proximity to the beach.        For those beautiful evenings we are happy to set-up a barbeque and a fire pit with assistance of our caretakers. Due to power cuts the villa has an inverter facility to light up and fan every room upto 6 hours.       Our property is completely gated with a stone wall and has fully functional outdoor surveillance.   Food arrangements: Our caretakers are glad to serve you a tasty home cooked breakfast and snacks from our in-house kitchen. We have a refrigerator dedicated for our guest to stock up on their favourite drinks and accompaniments. We do not encourage cooking within the villa except incase of special requirement of a baby or the elderly with assistance. The villa has quite a few good restaurants that are just around a km radius which serve tasty local cusine.    Loud music after 10 pm is not permitted as we are on the brink of forest. Sightings of exotic species of birds are common besides monkeys,squirrels,etc. As we are in the middle of nature, bees and bugs could bug you but it is all part of nature. We provide soaps, bath towels, toilet paper,etc. No need for key collection as staff is present 24/7. Guest access The entire gated villa.. Other things to note Electricity cuts are not that often but can happen so we have an inverter in place which can last you appr 8 hours if used judiciously.. geysers and ac s do not work on the inverter..
