If you leave the windows open, they often come in. We recommend not to leave the windows open if you are not good at them. Small ants are also common on Ishigaki Island. Even at our house, professional ants extermination services are delivered regularly, but it is difficult to completely eliminate the ants. They are very sensitive to sweets, foods etc., Therefore, we do not put seasonings at kitchen. Guests should take care not to drop sugary sweets and foods over the floor and not to leave the packages open.
