Description

A 6 birth double glazed & central heated static home situated in private grounds. Picturesque garden, river & woodland area with fishing available (subject to licence). Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge freezer & combi boiler. All linen provided including towels. Also included: iron & ironing board, hairdryer, 39 inch HRD TV with Freeview channels (live channels may not always be available due to location) DVD player & selection of DVDs, board-games & books, WiFi. The space The town of Dolgellau is 1.5 miles away with 2 supermarkets, 2 takeaways & a good selection of places to get good coffee, eat and drink. Coed-y-Brennin forest with thrilling biking trails for both the experienced & the not so experienced adventurers is just 7 miles away. Barmouth with blue flag beach, shops & places to wine & dine catering for all tastes is 8 miles. For easy walking & cycling you can easily access the Mawddach estuary trail directly from the caravan. For the more adventurous, Cader Idris mountain range is 2 miles, or the Snowdon mountain range is circa 30 miles, both offering great climbing experiences. Other places close by include Zip World with the longest zip wire ride. There are many other places to visit & explore within easy access. Guest access We are just off the A470, Dolgellau bypass, GPS coordinates: (52.7499677, -3.9057667) copy these into Google maps and it will take you to the caravan. Once here your acess to the caravan is down a driveway between my cottage and my neighbours house. Your parking space is at the bottom of the drive to the right of the double gates. Entry to the caravan grounds is through the wooden gates which I respectfully ask that you keep closed at all times. I have 3 dogs and they are likely to welcome you noisily. They get on very well with other dogs & are very friendly, but if you have any concerns just let me know & I will ensure you are not disturbed. Please note that the gate must be kept closed in case my dogs wander down & gain access to the main road (they have no road sense at all) & (should you be bringing your own dog) to keep them safe as well. The river at the end of my garden is tidal & can flow fast & high. For the safety of guests’ children & pets, I have gated access to the cottage garden & the river. You are more than welcome to access the garden & the river but I cannot take any responsibility for the safety of guests, their children & pets, & again very respectfully ask that children & pets are fully supervised at all times. Other things to note We have immediate neighbours. The entrance to their cottage is across the drive from the caravan, but the caravan sits behind the high access entry fence so privacy is not compromised. They also have a large friendly dog kept in his own secure garden who will welcome you with a bark or two.
