Open Space 90sqm with private courtyard | Red Metro
Description
Casa Magata is an airy and bright basement open space overlooking a garden. It's where I lived for 20 years, where I go back when Milan calls. In addition to standard amenities, it has some "smart" extras, such as super fast internet, water purifier and mosquito nets. It also has a 20 sqm courtyard, partially covered, ideal for those with pets or who want to smoke a cigarette sitting under the gazebo. 500 meters from the Pasteur Metro Rossa The space Casa Magata is an open space, so the only door is the bathroom door! Entering through the front door, you enter the living room, where there is a brand new 140x200 sofa bed, another sofa, the multimedia TV with HDMI cable set up to connect your devices, a DVD player (with some movies available to guests) and a stereo. In the bedroom, a 160x200 double bed and 1 power cube on each nightstand to conveniently recharge computers and cell phones. The kitchen is arranged on 2 levels: a lower one with a large table and an upper one with a stove and appliances (microwave, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, kettle). On the sink there is a small water purifier tap. Be Green and refill your water bottles! You will also have 1 small 1/2 cup moka and 1 large 3/4 cup moka. The bathroom with window has a tub/shower, sink, bidet, and toilet. In the anteroom, washing machine, boiler and access to the internal courtyard. There is no gas in the house, but everything is electric, with a 6kW meter. The windows are higher than normal, but are easily accessible. They have mosquito nets and can also be opened with a flap. If you like to sleep in total darkness, Casa Magata is not for you. Despite the curtains, since there are no shutters or blinds, a little light filters in. Even if you like to sleep in the most deafening silence, Casa Magata is not for you. We are in Milan, a lively city, especially on weekends and my apartment is in a condominium from the 1960s. In summer the house is very cool and I have never needed air conditioning (but there are fans). In winter, the heating is centralized and is usually turned on October 15 and off April 15. During the period when the condominium heating is on, the house is ready to welcome you with its warmth when you return from your walks around Milan. But if you want to stay at Casa Magata just before the heating is turned on or just after it is turned off and the weather is not favorable, the house may be a little cold. We always hope for a mild autumn and spring, but if you are very sensitive to the cold and do not want to risk staying at home in a sweater and watching television under a soft blanket, then I recommend that you opt for an accommodation with independent heating and heat pumps. Guest access Casa Magata is 500 meters from the Pasteur Red Metro stop (just 6 Metro stops from the Duomo!) and 750 meters from the Loreto stop (red and green). From there, you can go anywhere! If you don't want to walk, there are many bike/scooter/car sharing services in Milan. If you have a car, there are paid parking spaces (blue stripes) on the street. Also in the street, charging stations for electric cars. 300 meters away, there is covered paid parking 24/7 Other things to note In the house you will find many books and comics. Book crossing is welcome Enjoy my collection of vintage items. Registration Details IT015146C2X937US6R
