Welcome to The African Art Suite! As the sister property to The African Art House & The African Art Loft, The African Art Suite is nearby the beach and offers a beautifully designed space for your holiday. To reflect the local culture, original art pieces from The Diani Beach Art Gallery have been used in the large, 50m2 space. From your spacious living area you have direct access to the shared pool. Due to its central location, supermarket, bank, restaurants and shops are very close by. The space The African Art Suite offers you: --> tropical gardens with shared pool to enjoy. Sun loungers available. --> comfy space with king bed, silver seal mattress, smart TV, free fiber-optics WiFi, iron and iron board, clothes drying rack --> modern kitchen with 2 gas burner cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and cafetiere (free coffee, tea, milk and water until used up, refills at own cost) --> modern bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer (free shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper until used up; refills at own cost) --> a power back up system so you can use the internet and watch telly in case of power outage (which can happen frequently in Kenya) --> gate manned 24/7 with security personnel, private parking --> free housekeeper services twice a week. Extra cleaning services available at a fee of USD8/KSH1000 per half day (4 hours). .....and all of this is located very close to the beach and local restaurants and bars so you can pop out for that quick beach walk or the drinks forgotten at shopping time. The closest supermarket is also only a 5 min walk away. Guest access Enjoy relaxed hours at the shared pool and tropical garden, which is directly accessible from your Suite. Other things to note --> The Suite is located on the ground floor with access to pool and garden --> If you are not traveling alone, please enter the number of people in your group when placing your booking --> This property is not suitable for children under 12 years and hence no bookings with kids will be accepted. --> Extra cleaning services can be arranged for USD8/KES1000 for half a day (4 hours) --> Outside guests and personnel are strictly forbidden to enter the premises at any time. --> Any damage or breakage to any contents of the Suite has to be reported immediately and is charged at purchase price. --> Please do not take white hand or shower towels outside the apartment. Please use designated beach and pool towels provided. Should any indoor towels be torn or dirty from outside use, a replacement/deep cleaning fee of USD20 per towel applies. --> To help the environment please close all windows and keep doors closed while running AC units to allow ambient cooling at minimum electricity consumption. Please ALWAYS switch off lights and AC when leaving the apartment. --> We live in a tropical country with many little animals and insects around. Especially during the dry season, all living creatures are looking for water and might wander in. This does NOT mean the place is dirty or left uncleaned. We provide insect spray for your convenience but would also ask for you to use it sparingly as animals beneficial to our environment will also be killed. Please note no refund will be given as it is simply not possible in a tropical climate to keep the premises completely insect free. Thank you. --> While internet connection is provided free of charge, service interruptions are possible. Generally speaking the network is stable, but it can happen that service is interrupted due to maintenance or repair works to the service provider infrastructure. Please report any outage immediately so that I can notify the service provider. Please note that while the internet company will endeavor to rectify any problem reported as soon as possible, no refund will be given as this is entirely out of my hands. Thank you.
