Barley Mow - Luxury Escape In The Mountains

Standalone luxury 2 bedroom apartment in a tranquil and private setting, with kitchen & living area on 2 levels and spectacular views of the Shotover River & The Remarkables mountains. Set on 10 acres of park-like grounds, with secure garaging. Barley Mow is in the snowline during winter and 4wd vehicles are strongly advised. We live in the main house which is nearby but a a separate dwelling on the property. We have 2 white cats that roam the property but do not go into the apartment. The space Barley Mow is situated in the beautiful Wakatipu Basin midway between Queenstown & Arrowtown and a short drive from Coronet Peak skifield and the international airport. It is quiet and peaceful. Guest access There are plentiful decks and indoor/outdoor living spaces, ideal for relaxation and taking in the magnificent views, preferably with a glass of Pinot Noir. Guests are able to wander around the property when staying. Other things to note Guests are welcome to explore the 10 acre property and to gather apples, hazelnuts, chestnuts and mushrooms in season. The log burner creates a welcoming and warm ambiance when the snow is falling.
