This unique property was once part of the Sunshine Biscuit Factory, and since being made a heritage listed building, it is now one of the last standing buildings from that estate. THE HOME: Split across multiple levels, the open plan living spaces, allow guests to mingle across the home with ease. I love being able to chat into the lounge and dining room as I cook. This home allows for a truly shared experience for friends, family or colleagues. However when you need that moment to yourself, simply retreat upstairs, or onto the outside deck, to unwind. The space has a projector, large projector screen and surround sound for those cosy movie nights in, and the high walled private decking area, complete with six burner range hood BBQ, is perfect for the summer months! If you want a little separation from the kids, they will love being able to play upstairs, while the adults socialise on the ground level. In the winter months the ducted heating system warms the house wonderfully. Being an open plan house, the upper sleeping level gets very toasty! There are blankets all through the house, but I always suggest bringing slippers and dressing gowns in winter, as Ballarat can be chilly in general. Please note the upstairs open plan sleeping level has one queen bedroom with a closing door, and then a very long corridor separating the main queen bedroom to the single beds room, thus creating privacy without doors. The stairwells are fitted with safety gates, if you need extra safety for small children. Other features include: - NBN Wi-Fi internet - Lockable roller door garage with remote. - Dining table that seats 12 people. - TV in lounge room - Apple TV (guests will need to login to Netflix and Stan using their OWN account) - DVD player. - Split aircon only in lounge room. - Bathtub. - 2 detached toilets. - TV in main bedroom. - Split aircon/heat in main bedroom. - Some children's toys/games. - Washing machine. - Iron and 2 x ironing boards. - Vacuum. - Steam mop. - Double drawer dishwasher. - Two queen size beds WITH linen. - Four single beds WITH linen. - A double sized Japanese futon WITH linen. - A couch that can be made into an additional single bed (need to bring own linen) Guest access The day before your arrival, I will provide you with check-in entry details to access the property. On days when there are no guests checking in on the same day of your leaving, a later check-out time is possible. Please ask at the time of your booking. I'll always try to accommodate if possible!
