This beautiful 8 person home has been completely remodeled but still reminiscent of the original cabin built in 1926. Private homeowner's beach, pier, & possible buoy. Tall ceilings & a glass window wall looks out to the lake. 3 minute walk to Zephyr Cove Resort with cruises, horseback riding, parasailing, boat & kayak rentals. 4 miles from casinos & 15 minutes to Heavenly Valley. Only rented weekly from June-Aug. Please read county ordinance rules! Permit: DSTR1264P (ALLERGY: My son is highly allergic to pet hair and dander. Even a hypo-allergenic dog can hospitalize him. NO PETS ALLOWED. PLEASE be considerate of our request.) The county has a new ordinance for all vacation home rentals. Only 2 cars can be parked in the driveway and a placard (supplied by us) must be in each car on driver’s side dash. Fines for owner of car for non-compliance is $500. Only people over 25 can rent. All renters will need to submit a copy of their drivers license to us. Every person over 25 will need to sign a supplied form saying they will be responsible for following the ordinance. Quiet hours of 9:00 pm until 9:00 am must be observed. Friends of guests may not arrive before 9:00 am or leave after 9:00 pm. and are subject to the same parking and signed forms (if over 25) as overnight rental guests. There is a rental limit of 8 people allowed, including children of any age. Huge county fines apply to renters out of compliance! (Vacation Home Rental Permit: DSTR1264P) There is NO SMOKING anywhere on the property. The Home Owners Assn. does not allow smoking on the beach. This house is perfect for a larger family (8 people including any children), groups of friends, or business retreats. It is a wonderful getaway spot on the beach or for a ski vacation. This brand new house features a stone fireplace, high ceilings, great vistas of the lake, & gorgeous sunsets. It has a small but fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops. We have a BBQ, stone patio & a deck for socializing outside; leather sofas, a large flatscreen cable TV, & game area for indoor enjoyment. The beach & lake are yours for relaxing, watersports, or just gazing. The views of the lake are outstanding from every room, but no view beats the full glass window wall of the Great Room. Please note there are NO events allowed and unreasonable noise or disorderly conduct will be cited at the renter's expense. A citation may mean we are not allowed to rent in the future. Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive the lock box code to access the key and may arrive anytime after 4:00 PM. Check out is 10:00 AM. The house will be ready for you anytime you wish to come after 4:00. Parking is very limited and strictly enforced. Cars are only allowed in the paved driveway; There is a maximum of 2 cars including any trailer per county ordinance. Parking on the street is not allowed for safety reasons. This is a residential neighborhood where people live year round. Please be respectful. Quiet hours are between 9:00 PM- 9:00 AM. A private vehicle is usually needed, but UBER and taxis are used frequently. There are bicycle rentals in South Lake Tahoe for a day's adventure. Please follow all ZCPOA rules, including BRINGING EVERYTHING OFF THE BEACH/SAND EACH DAY and NO JUMPING or DIVIVG OFF the PIER even during high water years. This is both a safety and liability issue and is strictly enforced! No watercraft can be launched from Zephyr Cove. The nearest launching facility is Cave Rock (3 miles north). If using our buoy, please contact me for the necessary forms (watercraft proof of insurance and registration info must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the rental.) Bear lockers are provided for all garbage as we have a resident bear who will find any food left outdoors overnight. Parking is limited to 2 cars in the paved driveway including any trailer. A Parking Permit will be sent to you and can be copied for any car parked in our driveway. More than the maximum number of overnight guests, parked cars, or disregard for any other house rule will result in forfeiture of security deposit and county fine.
