The Forest Yurt

The Forest Yurt is set on 100 acres of Karri, Yellow Tingle and Karri Oak forest, with farmland to the North, for peaceful rural views. A completely private and peaceful environment, this is the perfect place for an adult retreat, honeymoon or family holiday. This unique 16 sided yurt was lovingly hand crafted by the owners who care for it's well being and upkeep and wish to share it with special people who respect peace, quiet and the surrounding natural environment. The space Ideal for couples and as an adult retreat and soaking up pure forest vibes. The large upstairs bedroom with queen bed is the star of the house. The two downstairs rooms are smaller but comfortable with a small double bed in one room and a kids bunk bed in the other. The bunk is suited to smaller / middle sized children . Guest access It is important you approach the Yurt from North Walpole Road into Hull Road then left into Angove Road. The Yurt property backs onto the Walpole Wilderness Gladstone State forest and Deep River Catchment ( cleanest river in Wa💚). Many tracks are not named or suited to 2wheel drives or passable at all in Winter, so it’s a good idea to know where you’re based before 4wheel driving !! Ignore navigation devices that will try to take you other routes. Guests have the property to themselves and are welcome to walk around the property . 3 sides of the property adjoin state forest. The Northern boundary just in front of the Yurt is our neighbour.Please respect our neighbours privacy which includes the massive dam next door.
