Our family run colonial style cottage & Anexxe nestled in Elk Hill the heart of Ooty town is a secluded tranquil sanctuary within walking distance of local attractions and perfectly suited for your family's weekend break or a leisurely short holiday. We can arrange pickup and drop off to the nearest airport / rail head in Coimbatore. Local sightseeing and transportation on request. Cottage and Annexe We have an independent cottage that accommodates 6 guests and we can host an additional 3 tguests in the Annexe to the main house about 50 yards away for a total of 9 guests. The Annexe has 2 adjoining bedrooms and a bathroom with three single beds. Only guests who are part of the same booking can be accommodated at the Annexe. Complimentary continental breakfast. Ingredients for a continental breakfast (eggs, bread, butter & jam, coffee and tea packets, milk, sugar) will be inclusive for guests in the room rate Food & Cook We do not provide a cook/chef during your stay. However our caretaker can pick up food from restaurants if you order take-out. The swiggy restaurant app also works in Ooty. A couple of restaurants close-by deliver as well. Since we are in Ooty town it is convenient to order in. We have a fully functional kitchen for your use as well. Sightseeing and leisure We can also arrange golf days, offbeat sightseeing experiences; trekking, tea estate visits and outdoor activities for a flavour of the great Nilgiris Biosphere. Also enjoy local nearby attractions including the boating lake, botanical gardens, historic St Stephens Church and the Doddabetta peak. Ooty is also a great staging point for trips to the nearby Mudhumalai and Bhandipur game reserves. RATES INR 11,500 per night for a 3 room cottage for 6 guests (high season). Rate for additional guests in the Annexe will be Rs. 1500 per night/guest with a minimum rate of Rs. 2500. (So Rs.2500 for 1 addl guest, Rs. 3000 for 2 addl guests and Rs. 4500 for 3 addl guests in the Annexe). Guest access Homely ambience Our lovely cottage is ideal to sleep a family of six (6) adults and an Annexe that can accommodate an additional three (3) adults for larger groups. The cottage is rented as a complete unit with three independent quaint comfy rooms and if needed the Annexe which has two adjoining bedrooms and an attached bath. Fully serviced with daily upkeep and regular Toiletries and Linen changes. Rooms are tastefully decorated in period style and have hotel standard bedding and linen. Each room with ensuite hot shower and toilet. There is a spacious bright living cum dining area, overlooking the lawn. Large equipped kitchen suitable for self-catering. Laundry services provided on request. We also have free Wi-Fi and a common use flat screen TV / DVD player. Room heaters, and ample parking space available. Takeaway meals can be arranged on request or alternatively grocery & cooking provisions can be provided at cost plus delivery charges . Pets not allowed.
