"Wombatty" private cabin in a bush setting

Holiday cabin nestled in a bushland setting which backs onto the Morton National park. This self contained accommodation is basic, comfy and perfect for families and friends. The cabin is very private with access to fire trails for walking and mountain biking. The cabin is a 12 minute drive to Milton and is 15 minutes from the beautiful Mollymook and Narrawallee beaches. The hosts live on the property and will be seen as they move around tending to horses and jobs. The space The private nature of the place makes it a perfect for a catch up with family and friends in a peaceful natural environment. The cabin is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. You are almost guaranteed to be able to see wombats in the wild if you are willing to go for a night wander with a headtorch. Listen to the calls of the birds while having a few drinks around a fire in the outdoor fire place (firewood is provided). The cabin has a basic kitchen with a microwave, bar fridge, outdoor BBQ with a wok burner, a selection of pots and pans and a coffee press. A selection of teas and coffee are provided. The cabin has two sleeping areas with one of these being a small upstairs loft. Both these spaces have air conditioning. Guest access Guests can access the guest accommodation and trails around the property for walking and biking. The hosts can provide information on the various trails around the property. Other things to note The road into the property is a 4km private road with some potholes and short corrugated dirt sections. This road has a speed limit of 50km / hour. Due to the shared nature of the road there is a limit of 2 vehicles per group booking. Please exercise extreme caution when driving on this road as there are sometimes stray livestock and properties near the road with dogs and young children. At night and in the early morning wombats can unexpectedly run out onto the road. Water dragons often sun themselves on the causeway of our property. The property has unfenced dams, electric fences as well as the normal risks associated with being on a rural property. Children will need to be supervised at all times.
