Unique home about 1.5 miles from OSU campus and less than half a mile from all the amenities you could need. You have a private entrance; space for living, sleeping, basic cooking, and working; and large garden windows. This large (~400sqft) studio has red oak floors, a queen bed, living space with couch, desk and chair, 3/4 bathroom, and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette has a 2-burner stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, electric water kettle, small fridge and homemade dishes, but it does not have a kitchen sink. During COVID guests have been using the bathroom sink to wash dishes. Your room has ample windows facing the gorgeous backyard, with a sliding door directly to a covered outdoor seating area. The Co-op, Trader Joe's, and dozens of restaurants and shops are all within an easy walking mile. OSU campus is an easy 1.5 mile. A note on climate: Most of the year you'll use the wall-mounted heating unit and a supplied space heater if you need more warmth. As a daylight basement, it generally stays cool but our more frequent 100degree summer days can warm the room up if the windows and blinds aren't closed during the day. You have a large standing fan available in the closet that usually does the trick, and since summer evenings drop back down into the 60's it's a good idea to open windows up at night. Downstairs studio with separate entrance. This is a well-established neighborhood close to OSU. Easy walking, biking, or bus to everything. Parking is always available on the street in front of the house. Corvallis bus system is free and we are within a few blocks of four routes (5,4,C1, and CVA). Walking is a breeze. Biking even better if your bring one. You can get anywhere from here! The room is just off the owner's kitchen. We rarely get up before 7:30am which would be the first time you'd hear us. You might hear us cooking dinner as well between 5-7pm.
