Large lounge with four comfortable sofas, piano and Clearview log-burner. Big-screen TV with freeview, netflix, iplayer, all4 etc. DVD player with selection of classic films. Farmhouse-style kitchen with scrubbed-pine dining table, sofa and french windows to garden and herb bed. Fully-equipped with microwave oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, well-stocked spice rack and electric hob. Tea, coffee, sugar and some milk provided. Permanently-on range cooker means the kitchen is always warm and welcoming, the kettle always on the boil and ovens ready for slow-cooked meals and baked potatoes. Green slate boot-friendly floor with pulley clothes drier for wet coats. Plenty of off-road parking. Well-lit driveway. Ability to drive up to front door for unpacking. Garden furniture with ample seating for al fresco dining. Utility with washing machine and tumble drier. Spacious airy porch for boots and coats. Bedroom 1 – newest part of house, vaulted ceiling, king-size bed, patio door to part-roofed balcony with outdoor seating and access to garden, en-suite bathroom with bath + shower, toilet and basin and electric shaver-point. Bedroom 2 – bay window, views of the hills, super-king-size bed [can be configured as 2x single beds on request]. Bedroom 3 – overlooks the drive, extensive library, king-size bed. Bedroom 4 – vaulted ceiling, king-size bed. Main bathroom – hill views, bath, separate shower, toilet, bidet, basin + de-mist mirror. Downstairs utility – shower, toilet, sink unit (de-mist mirror), washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes drying rack, airing cupboard. The accommodation and facilities are ideal for children and a travel cot, hook-on table highchair, stair-gate and various items (including some toys, plastic tableware and cartoon dvds) are available on request. Sorry, the property is not suitable for pets so these are not permitted. Access via coded key-safe [code supplied prior to arrival]. Inside the house, there is a large security cabinet with a key available for storing valuables if required. Guest access House and garden free for guests to access all areas except for some cupboards/doors/gates which are marked 'private' which guests are asked please to respect. Extensive local map and guidebook selection and our suggestions for local walks and pub visits on shelf in kitchen. Hall chest contains hot water bottles for added winter comfort, a selection of playing cards and adults' and children's board games. Hifi in hall with extensive eclectic collection of rock, folk and world cds. DVD player in living room with selection of classic films and Disney cartoons.
